Looks and feels great

I love them. They look and feel great. They have enough slack to get some cool drape and not feel constrained, but not so much slack to look like a bag of potatoes. I feel like there's a bit more slack in the thigh and lower leg than the Duer No Sweat straight pants, which in turn have a bit more slack than the Duer Denim+ straight jeans. The seat and waist feel the same size across all pants. So I see right size on top and a somewhat squarer baggier look in the leg---and I think that's part of the chill vibe of the pants. I like it. The fabric feels decidedly more comfortable against the skin than either the Denim+ or No Sweats, which is saying a lot because the No Sweats are super comfortable. But the canvas is more breathable and I think that's what makes such a big difference. Hands down, the canvas fabric feels the most comfortable of all three, and the excellent size and proportions just build on that. The quirky front pockets, the mid-leg phone side pocket, and the horizontal lines below the knee make these pants look cool and practical at the same time, while the canvas fabric makes them look a bit upscale for that look---more than you'd expect, anyway. The canvas fabric looks really good. I think it's the best looking fabric in the Duer line. The stretch is more like the Duer Denim+, which are stretchier than the No Sweats, probably because they have double the elastane (2% vs. 1%). But I like that amount of stretch better in these canvas pants. It feels and looks more natural to me. I always felt the Denim+ should have less stretch and be more like the No Sweats in that regard, but in these canvas pants, that much stretch feels right. The fabric has some thickness to it, more than my cheaper Levi's 505 jeans. So I expect it to have good strength and take plenty of abuse before it gives out. But it's also very breathable, so it feels noticeably cooler on my skin. These will probably work great in the warmer spring and fall months, maybe even in the cooler summer nights too, if I need to put on some pants. I haven't tried the tan version yet, but the black version looks *cool*, and I expect I will pick it more often than my Denim+ and No Sweat pants. Especially in those warmer months. The tan version is probably a good pick for that but I haven't tried it.

Comfortable, as always.

It is a great utility pant. It fits well and has plenty of pockets.
