Ice axe holders on outside of pack are horrible quality and it's clear that the design wasn't thought through. The axe will easily fall out if there's much movement with your pack. The small pieces of plastic that come on the outside meant to further stabilize the axe make no sense. It needs a buckle or something to actually ensure that it won't fall off the pack. Considering that the main purpose of this bag is to be a summit alpine bag, and that it fails to be adequate for its one purpose, I would not at all recommend that you purchase this

I've really enjoyed using this pack so far. In terms of size and weight, it's excellent. It carries a surprising amount of gear while staying reasonably comfortable, making it a great option for fast alpine objectives or other quick days in the mountains. I could also see it working well as a lightweight hiking day pack. I really like the single large compartment, it keeps the design simple and makes packing easy. That said, there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. Carrying a rope can be frustrating when the pack isn't completely full. The only real attachment point is at the top, and because the top of the pack becomes floppy when it's partially loaded, the rope tends to shift around. A couple of side compression straps or buckles would go a long way toward securing a rope more effectively. My biggest disappointment has been the durability. On its very first trip to the Grand Teton, the bottom of the pack developed a small abrasion hole. It's nothing that can't be patched, but I expected the fabric to hold up better in alpine terrain, especially given the pack's intended use. Overall, I don't regret buying this pack, and I've genuinely enjoyed using it. It's lightweight, carries well, and has a thoughtfully simple design. However, I think it falls short in durability and could benefit from a few additional features.

I love this bag, provides everything I need for a day at the crag. My climbing friends are super jealous

I was very happy with this as a summit pack that easily fit inside my larger backpacking pack on Aconcagua. The removable foam liner made it easy to roll up the entire pack and not need to store it vertically. I wouldn't recommend it as an every day pack, except if being ultra light is a priority, as it lacks convenient storage spaces on the outside for water bottles, crampons etc.

It’s extremely high quality, fits a ton of gear and comfortable to wear. I use it to haul my packrafting kit and it can easily hold the raft and PFD inside with my paddle on the outside. Wish there were more pockets or daisy chains on the outside but I figured out other ways using straps and biners. Would buy again

I needed a small day pack to use while multipitch climbing. The Blitz 28 worked great. Big enough to keep my essentials while on the rock yet small enough not to interfere with climbing.

Lightweight, durable, and perfect for climbers and hikers. It offers easy access, great storage, and performs well in any weather. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this pack. I just wish there was one option to put the water bottle inside the pack on the side so it is easy to reach.

This was just what I expected. It's light and compact but surprisingly spacious inside. Love it!

This did the trick for a light weight, minimalistic bag to get the job done while ice climbing!
