prAna  Foundation Rib T-Shirt - Women's

I have this shirt in black and white now. LOVE it. Comfy, can dress up or down. The perfect shirt to bring on a work trip to somewhere where it is hot

The fabric of this shirt is so, so lovely. I'm a huge fan of the original Foundation fabric and the ribbed material is a thicker, but still soft alternative. The body of the shirt fit very well (I ordered an XL so that it wasn't skin-tight). I'm 5'11, 210lbs, usually wear a L or XL in prAna tops, for reference. The main issue I found with this top was that the shoulder seams were about 2 inches short of my actual shoulders and stuck up prominently. I have broad shoulders and run into this issue relatively often, but the proportions on this top felt very off. The body of the shirt fit well and the length was perfect (I have a shorter torso for my height).

I really wanted this shirt to work, but it runs very small. I like things fitted and neat looking, but this was way past that. I thought about exchanging it for a larger size, but I wasn't convinced even a size up would help the situation. If you like things skin tight, this might work for you. Also, the neck hole is very small and so it clings to your throat and comes up a little on your neck, which I think looks strange and was also uncomfortable. I found the material to be a little rough as well--not comfortable. I wanted to like this because I could use something like this in my wardrobe, but I had to return it.

Although the XS fit, it was very form fitting showing every rib outline, so I exchanged it for a S. This top has serious issues with the fit, at least on me. It bunches up above the chest with normal movement, the shoulders are tight and the sleeves ill fitting. I couldn't wear it right away because of the weather otherwise I would have returned it. I wore it one time and will be giving it away.

Don’t buy this shirt. I bought the small white t-shirt and after one wear / wash, the neck line got really stretched out. I thought it would be a quality basic staple in my wardrobe so paid full price and it’s basically ruined after one wear. I would throw it away but feel bad for the environment.

I bought a small which normally fit me but the shirt is very short. Also the hem has started to come unstitched and I've only worn it a few times.

I bought 3 of these in my regular size (should've read all the reviews first about the shoulder fit!!) and took off all the tags and pre-washed (cold water/air dry)...love the feel of the fabric, but the fit is AWFUL. I want to love these, but unfortunately I am giving them to a friend who is 2 sizes smaller, which just seems ridiculous...constantly pulling at the shoulders and pulling down the shirt. Prana, get it right and I'll buy every single color because the feel of the shirt (minus the fit) is great!

I'm usually between a medium and small so I ordered a medium. The shirt was weirdly tight, and I wish I'd ordered a large instead. I could have also used another few inches in the torso but expected that given the picture. The fabric was very soft and stretchy. I like that the short sleeves were banded at the bottom and not loose, so the shirt could be worn under something else easily. It was also nice to find something soft that had a crew neck. I would buy more in this fabric but the sizing is problematic.

I’m obsessed with this fabric - I now have three long sleeves and this shirt and a tank top. They’re seriously the most comfortable ever. The cut is very flattering on the arms here, and it hugs your curves just right. My major issue, though, is that it isn’t long enough. The shirt rises easily and my midriff is constantly showing. With the other shirts and tank I can easily tuck into pants to keep that from happening (and it looks nice) but can’t with this shirt. Makes it inconvenient to wear.

I wear this tee as an undershirt under looser tops. I have three in grey. It is soft and comfortable and doesn’t hold underarm odor as some close fitting shirts do. Because it’s snug, a size up is perfect for me (from Small to Medium). The care tag on the inside at one side is very uncomfortable. Unfortunately it’s sewn into the side seam, so I’ve had to take out and repair enough seam to release the tag. I wish they would sew it w a separate line of stitching so that wouldn’t be necessary.
