Go to Carry-on luggage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the Gregory Border 40 carry-on on a one week trip to Mexico City. I packed the following items: 4 pants, 11 shirts, rain jacket, 1 pair of shoes, toiletries, laptop, book, and water bottle. All this fit without any issues. I liked the fact that the shoulder and hip straps can be hidden to be placed on a luggage for hauling around. I also liked the two handles on the bag to make loading on/off the overhead bins a breeze. I do wish this back had an easy access pocket on the back to reach items without having to remove the backpack. This will be my go to carry-on luggage for 1-2 week long trips. Gregory gave me this free product to try. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Gregory Border Carry On 40, Mesa Brown — 5/5 Stars
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Border Carry On 40 handled back-to-back work and personal trips without missing a beat. It fit overhead bins easily, kept my laptop and essentials accessible, and carried comfortably through long connections. The Mesa Brown color looks sharp while staying under the radar, and the quality feels built to last. It won't stand upright when partially packed, but that's my only complaint. Gregory provided this pack for my honest review, and it's hands-down the best travel backpack I've used.
Travel made easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack might just be the best travel hack ever! I recently used this on a three night golf trip and with the 40L size, I was easily able to fit everything I needed, with room to spare. This pack is perfect for travelers who don’t want the hassle of rolling a carry-on around, but don’t want to skimp on what they pack. The pockets in this are perfectly thought out for easy access in flight and divided enough on the inside to keep item like shoes separate from delicate clothes. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Excellent for one-bag travel!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for one bag travel!! The Border 40 is an outstanding bag that has great organization, is very durable and looks fantastic. I try to only travel with one carry-on bag, and sometimes an extra personal item. I can fit two weeks worth of clothes in this 40l bag, and it carries comfortably. I like the suitcase style opening, zippered mesh dividers and extra zippered pockets. There is even a AirTag holder built in! The exterior grab handles are super sturdy and the material seems like it will stand up to years of use. The water bottle holder seems a little tight for thicker bottles, but should work out just fine. It’s super deep, so your bottle should never fall out. I don’t travel with a computer, but that storage area is great for travel papers, a kindle, etc. It’s not the lightest 40l bag I have, but the durability is probably worth the trade off in the extra weight. The padded hip belts are not bulky, but padded enough to make carrying the full pack pretty comfortable. I definitely recommend using packing cubes, as they really keep your gear organized and fit perfectly in this bag. I have only used this bag for local trips, but will be putting it to the test on a two week long overseas trip in a few weeks. Based on initial usage, I think this bag will be perfect for my trip. I have several 40l travel bags, but this Gregory seems to be one of the sturdiest. It’s also one of the best organized bags. This doesn’t have any compression straps, which is the only negative so far. That being said, the way the bag is built, along with the enclosed interior storage, may be okay without the compression straps. I need to do a little more testing….. Overall, I’m impressed with this bag and also love that it’s my only travel bag that isn’t all black. Gregory makes solid products (I have used their backpacking bags, tents, etc), so I’m stoked to have their travel bag! This bag was provided free by Gregory for my honest review.
Weekend pack and more
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to take this pack for a weekend camping trip. Packing it out was great, lots of different pockets and areas to separate things out. Zippers in all the places that you want them and even a hidden pocket on the inside that is helpful for things I don't want to worry about. The passthrough that lets you hook it onto a rolling bag, is a great addition. After a weekend of camping the separate parts were great to put the smelly things apart from the others. The straps were nice and comfy when I had to jog to the plane it made things easier to cinch up the straps and make a run for it to catch our flight
More spacious than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is great for the multiple trips I have taken it on. This was great for a business trip with dress shoes and my suit plus work laptop. Fit well below the sit or overhead bin. I loved that you can remove the hip strap if needed to either check the bag or make it more professional. This was also great on our car camping trip being tossed around in the back of the truck bed.
Great bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carry-on bag is great! Exceeded my expectation and made me realize how much I was missing out with my previous go-to carry-on bag. Favorite features: The handles all over the bag are great. They make it so much more convenient to move your bag in/out of overhead storage while flying. The different compartments found throughout the bag are nice to have, especially the laundry compartment. Very nice not to have clean clothes mix with laundry. The laptop pocket runs the entire length of the back which made for lots of room for my 17in laptop. While the entire bag itself is great, the hip strap is the MVP. There is nothing worse than walking around an airport with a heavy bag solely on your shoulders. The hip strap is comfy and allows me to be hands free which is great when running towards your gate! Overall this is a great carry-on, plenty of space and great design. It will be replacing my previous go-to travel bag. Gregory gave me this free product to try in exchange for my honest review
Clean look, big on comfort and utility
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had an opportunity to use this Gregory Border 40L bag on two trips now and I love how simple it looks while being able to hold a lot of content and be really comfortable to carry. I initially thought the shoulder straps were not wide enough but even fully packed, the straps are comfortable and because they are not wide, they allow for more air ventilation so you don’t get shoulder straps sweat. The inside of the bag is well thought out. There are shallow pockets to keep things easy to see and get while also having large areas of the bag to stash clothes and other large items. I packed for a 4 day vacation without a problem and was able to easily carry the bag with little pockets still to spare. Outside, you have access to pockets to keep your wallet, passport, keys, chargers, etc in for easy access. There is a large water bottle pocket on one side of the bag. It has a removable waste strap that’s heavily padded if you need the extra support off your shoulders. The computer pocket has plenty of padding and held my large iPad and computer without any struggle. It has the ability to tuck the backpack straps away and has large rubber handles if you want to handle it like a briefcase or check the bag. It also has the pockets to put the bag on your roller luggage handle. I think Gregory made a professional bag that is high in style and comfort that will last. Whether on vacation or a business trip, this bag fits. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Great multi day to long travel pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack has been awesome!! It’s been super helpful for travel recently and I am excited to keep using it. I’ve been able to use it 3-4 times in the past month or so. It has plenty of room for me to pack my stuff for a decently long trip, and it’s been perfect for my wife and I for a short weekend trip to fit all of our clothes and toiletries in. I love the two large pockets for clothes and the three small mesh pockets for random stuff. The only thing is that I wish the laptop sleeve was larger to fit my large work laptop. However, it can still fit in the large back pocket. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good size pack that can accommodate any sort of travel. Gregory gave me this free product to try.
Comfortable and nicely compartmentalized
Materials are light and feel durable. It does pick up some dog hair but I’ve been able to easily brush it off. Hair sticks more so to the rubberized handles. The handles are great for a quick grab and they help the bag keep its shape. The air mesh is great against the back. I like that the waist belt is fully removable I do not find them necessary in bags this size. The interior is nicely organized without being overly so. I also like the light colored interior. YKK zips throughout. The external waterborne holder is tight elastic mesh and will hold at least a 24oz bottle. The only thing dangling on the outside is the shoulder straps. Keepers would have been nice. This is a little larger than my typical carry on. I could easily one bag with it for two weeks.
