Arms are extremely long for my body. The jacket is rather loose fitting but overall high quality feeling. thinner insulation than expected which is good for high output activities - outer shell is substantial and will provide good protection. once you cinch the very big hood up, taking it off makes it a springy bunch behind my head rather than laying flat. I got a medium and usually get a medium - 5'6" 160 pounds. This feels bigger than a medium. they revised the small to be smaller, so I'm afraid to order that but may do so given the roomy cut to this
Ive had the sabre insulated jacket for three years and previously reviewed it as the GOAT. Arc has ruined another great coat. The fit, at least of the XS, is terrible. Nobody has shoulders and chest as big as the jacket is. Makes me wonder if they try these jackets on in every size before selling them. My previous sabre fit great and is much warmer than this updated version which has substantially less insulation and warmth. The new EPE gore tex feels less durable, has less stretch, and is much louder and glossier than the older version. The new zipper and the extra pockets are nice but its unwearable because of the weird fit.
