Super cute color and fit perfectly. Material is not itchy. Super warm!
I bought this as part of a set at the end of last season, and comfort-wise and look-wise, it is probably my favorite base layer set that I own. However, after only 5-6 wears, and 2 washes (on cold and air dried), I got horrible pilling on the chest right under where the zipper of the Carson bib sits. It honestly looks even worse in person than it does in the picture. I reached out to the halfdays team, because I have never seen such wear so fast in a Marino top, and they said that it is normal wear and that even a replacement would probably yield the same results. I guess these are mostly just for the instagram pics, and not meant to be worn under their own bibs more than a few times. Super disappointing because they really are very comfortable base layers.
Hi there, thanks so much for your review. Some pilling is to be expected due to the high wool content in this item, just like if it were a wool sweater. We recommend you use a fabric shaver to clean up any pills. It should look good as new after that!
Really warm and lightweight, this top has kept me warm on some freezings days skiing and the wool is nice so it hardly smells if I am sweaty. My only complaint is that it is a little more cropped that I would like. I don't have the matching pants so I wear a mid waist legging and the top barely reaches my leggings.
Great material and cut. Perfect base layer. I don’t like to bulk up layering. I prefer a simple undergarment under my shell as I don’t like to feel restricted in my arms and neck. Plus looks super cute if i am running errands after skiing.
Fit is perfect, it’s super comfortable- no tugging or readjusting needed throughout the day. Warm without overheating. And it goes so well with my navy ski gear from Halfdays. I always get compliments on the slopes!
Warm but I find it a little tight. However after having it on for a while and exercising or moving around you barely notice it. Love the color too but stained it really fast because Im not super careful.
Great top that will keep you warm while skiing in cooler temperatures. I wear under a wool sweater for the chillier days or independently on nicer blue days. Also is very complimentary of your figure
So warm! It was the only layer underneath my jacket and I had no warmth issues. Very flattering. Going to purchase more of these for other sports activities!
I haven't worn this to go snowboarding yet as a base layer but it has been a wonderful running top, it feels light but it keeps you extremely warm.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This layer kept me so warm on a 20° ski day, while also allowing me lots of movement. Very stylish, got so many complements.
