My absolute favorite go-to pants
I love these pants. They are nearly perfect - the fabric, fit, style, gusseted inseam, short length for the vertically-challenged. Love 'em! Only thing I would change (and the reason for the 4-star rating) is the front pocket linings tear and wear way too easily. Every one of my 5 pairs have developed various holes in both left and right pockets. But since I love the pants so much, I've mastered the art of adding iron-on patches to the back/inner side of the pockets. One other thing - bring back the navy blue! Miss that color and those pants reached their end of life for me after wearing through a knee.
NOT durable
These pants are awesome, fit excellent, look excellent and are comfortable. But are less durable than a Las Vegas resident during a blizzard. I tried to keep them as my "nice" work / office pants, and they do everyday stuff aside from being sat in, and both knees are already blown out . . . not my nice pants anymore. They definitely won't last if you use them doing any of the "lifestyle" activities proponed by Stio. I have also owned five pairs of Stio pants (canvas and jeans) and every pocket has blown out - the material is about as thick as toilet paper.
Perfect Pants
This is my second pair purchased within 6 months. I wear them regularly, from work, play and even formal restaurants on the west coast with a collared shirt. I don’t have a more comfortable and versatile pair of pants. They wear like iron and always feel and look great. I have been through many other pairs from what I will call similar companies, but these are the best for the reasons I described. I have tried many Stio products for different reasons such as hiking, climbing and mountain biking and every time I branch out on the product line I am impressed - and I realize that I shouldn’t be. I learned of the original store when climbing in the Tetons years ago, and have followed Stio ever since. I can’t say enough about the quality, innovation and product line.
Great Pants But Beware Length
I love Stio and have been a customer from their early days. These are great pants but be aware that the "regular" length are far too long. I had to order the short length for them to fit.
Great pants for working
I needed some pants I could work all day in outside but still be cleaned up with a quick wash and suitable for nicer occasions. These pants have met my needs and exceeded expectations in terms of durability. I like the variety of colors, they’ve survived all sorts of testing outside jobs, and they’re still stylish enough that I can head to dinner out and not feel out of place. Super reliable and suitable for everyone.
Girls become curious… no seriously
I put on these super swell Stio Rivet bad boyz and just go places. I get stopped on street cuz girls become very curious. Like dude I’m 71 and it’s not me but all of a sudden I’m like this cool dude and get asked like where did I get those stunning pants. The key is I don’t hesitate but immediately and firmly recommend with 3 words “ Stio Jackson Hole”. It’s all over at that point they are diggin for a pen…
Way Too Long
I ordered a 36 Regular in these pants. These things extend well past my heels to under my foot. I am 6'2" and have never worn a short in my life. Have serious concerns about correct labeling as others have mentioned. Tried to exchange for a short just to see but the process would not allow me to order a short. Had to return them. Tough break.
Inconsistent Sizing
This is my third pair of Rivits. The first pair fit great 35 Long, I'm happy with those and I appreciate Stio stocking this uncommon size. However, the second and third pairs I ordered were not the same fit (one too short, the other too tight in the waist), so I had to return them. I encourage Stio to improve this aspect of quality.
These are great, winter-weight pants
These are perfect pants for regular tasks/chores, where you need to go inside/outside in wintry/inclement weather and remain presentable: commuting by bike to work, travel to colder places, walking snowy/muddy sidewalks, etc. Their stretchy enough to be comfortable, and can take a little dirt/mud which can be easily flicked off.
Men’s Rivet Canvas Pants
These are by far my favorite pair of pants. I love the look of them and they are true to size. Exactly what it says on the description. Not too loose and not too tight. I’ve purchased 2 pairs and plan on getting more. The only downside is the price. A little steep for a pair of pants.
