Obermeyer  Slopeside Puffer Insulated Jacket - Women's

Purchased at our local REI store. I would normally have purchase a size 16, but they only had 8-14. The 14 was generously sized, and will be fine with multiple layers underneath, or a bulky sweater. Very comfortable. Squeezed into a kids lunch box size bag for packing. Many nice features, such as internal zipped pocket and inner sleeves with thumb holes, "sticky" waistband to keep the jacket from riding up. Large hood for ski helmets, or big hairdos. I do NOT like the ugly black rubber Obermeyer label on the sleeve sewn on top of the delicate flower patterned fabric, and was disappointed to find it can't be removed without leaving an ugly glue mark on the fabric.

The jacket seems well built but the adult medium that we received is tiny. Looks like a child medium, not an adult. I’d recommend going one to two sizes larger than you think. My wife is an adult small and her arms won’t lift in this jacket. We gave it to our small daughter. She will likely outgrow it by the end of ski season.
