Cotopaxi  Todo 22L Convertible Tote

While the design of this tote is everything I wanted, I was disappointed in the drastic difference in color between what was shown online and what arrived. The color on the website appeared the be a bright, swimming pool green/blue. When the bag arrived it was a much darker, dull turquoise. I understand that part of the appeal of Cotopaxi is their wide variety of color options; however, this just wasn't for me. I would return, but I have already removed the tags.

This tote bag isn’t like many other bags. The shape and size is just what I was looking for. It is a great replacement for a messenger bag or brief bag. Seems durable enough and has just enough pockets without being too busy. The only thing I wish it had was side mesh pockets for a water bottle.

Both my kids have gotten into competitive sports & I need a bag that I can throw all my stuff in for their practices & games. I wanted a tote with specific things & this bag has them all: water resistant for rainy winter days, easy to clean, a top zipper to keep things dry & from falling out, compartments for my wallet/keys/phone, water bottle, book & notebook, and enough space for a sweatshirt or blanket. This tote is just big enough but not huge, light weight, and even though it’s sporty, it still looks sleek in black. My only suggestion is to make the inner lining a lighter color - dark colors turn into a black hole and it can be hard to see things on the bottom, but that’s why the compartments are so great!

I’m using this bag to haul my pickleball gear. I removed the outside seam down the middle of the mesh fabric to accommodate my paddle. I love the bag because the size is perfect and the color adds to the fun factor.

This is my work/laptop bag. But it’s also sometimes my hiking backpack! It’s also sometimes my daily purse! It’s spacious but not bulky. Now I want it in every color!

I'm very happy with this bag. The tote/back-pack cross-functionality was well designed. The backpack straps snap up when not in use so they don't dangle and the straps themselves are comfortable. The bag also has enough structural support on the back to work well as a backpack and to keep it standing up when placed on the floor. It looks good, too! As always, I love Cotopaxi quality! The only drawback is the lack of smaller organizational pockets. There is one zippered pocket on the outside, but nothing on the inside (except a laptop sleeve). Also, I don't mind this, but given its size, I can't carry it in my hand without bending my elbow. (I'm 5'6" and it just brushes the ground when I'm in flats and my arm is down straight. ) However, it fits great as a tote on my shoulder.

I bought this for traveling/ work and I love that it can convert to a backpack. You know when a tote bag gets too heavy on your shoulder? You can’t do anything with that heavy tote back except keep switching shoulders. But with this one you can just throw that heavy tote on your back and distribute the weight evenly. Like, WOW. Loves it.

I have a hard time deciding if I want to use this as a tote or a backpack! The wide straps make it a really comfortable backpack but the tote straps give you that easy option too! The only drawback, is it doesn’t “sit” very well, I guess I need to put more weight in the bottom.

I travel with a carry on backpack and wanted a tote that easier to carry alongside in the airport. So excited to use it! Only thing I would like to see would be more internal organization.

Awesome tote for traveling. Easy to cary over a shoulder or to transform into a backpack. Multiple compartments inside and out - even has a padded section for a laptop computer. Beautiful solid and Del Dia colors!!
