[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this coat for walking the dog and staying warm. The cuffs around the wrist are soft and cozy for added warmth. I like the drawstring to cinch the waist in a little. I also like the double pockets. I am 5’4” 155 lbs and went with large. I could’ve went with medium. But I like it a little big.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this purchase. The parka is so light in weight in comparison to its warmth. The flap pockets are great for carrying phone, keys, while keeping hands warm in the slash pockets, and not being concerned with anything falling out. The fleece cuffs inside the sleeves feel nice. The front of the jacket zips up nice and high, and meets the very Kenny from South Park like hood, which creates an excellent wind block. When the parka is unzipped to the neck, all that extra support does not feel annoying, or look bulky. Not sure how else to describe it, but it stays out of the way. 10/10, would recommend to friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went to Austria Christmas Markets and it was so cold and windy! However this was the best purchase I made gor the trip! I was warm and toasty the entire time. And… It is a light coat but warm and I was able to stuff it in a Ziploc when inside. Its not considered a packable coat but it folds nicely into your backpack or suitcase easily!!! The green color is beautiful! So many compliments!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a mid-thigh length parker for several years now and this one finally fit the criteria I was searching for! The four big things I wanted was a parka that was warm (I'm from the hot Southwest living the cold Midwest!), light-weight, didn't break the bank, and was not constrictive in the arms when wearing bulky sweaters. I tried about 5 different coats before finally finding his one. I definitely recommend this coat--especially at the sale price! I got this coat in the Navy in a size Medium, which fits true to size on me with enough room layering in the colder months.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really pleased with the warmth and fit. Purchased this for dog walking in all kinds of daily weather. This seems perfect for my needs for fall and winter in Michigan. I like that I can snap it together if I don’t have time to fuss with a zipper. I sized up to a large to make room for bulkier winter clothes and layering, & I’m glad I did. This coat has a puffier look than most, but I’m going for warmth, & I like the light weight of it as well. There’s room for a hat and hoodie hood under the hood, too. Comfortable, light weight, warm, & cozy. Thanks, Marmot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This parka ticks a lot of boxes for me. I love the mid thigh length, boxy slightly oversize cut, actual warmth (so many puffy coats aren’t actually warm), really warm puffy pockets that my phone stays secure in, generous hood, full range of motion in arms and shoulders, comfy fleece cuffs, super lightweight! The only down side is that the fabric very easily discolors from oil on one’s face, darkening the fabric around the chin/neck area. So I guess I’m going to have to be washing it a lot, unfortunately and crossing fingers it washes well without messing up the down. Would be perfect if there was some black fleece on the inside of the chin/zipper collar area, which would make it cozier and not take up oil like the poly fabric does.
Love this parka, it's exactly what I was looking for. The is design is impeccable. I especially love the cuffs having a soft fleece under the shell fabric and also four total pockets to zip my bus pass away securely. Great quality for it being so light weight and also keeping me warm in 20degree weather. I ordered the black, size medium so I could have extra room for layers underneath. I'm 5'1, size 2-4 typically and the coat hits right at my knees making it a good length for us petite women. I hope more colors are released eventually, I'd love a beige!
Light weight & warm (not my warmest down coat though), Great pockets -- I have the strollbrodge coat also in a different color) and a nice length. I appreciate the hidden and sturdy zipper. The snaps are a little hard to shut. I wish the hood were detachable. My fault for not noticing this, but I probably would have bought the coat anyway. I wish it didn't say "Marmot" on the front of the coat -- that's not my name -- but fortunately it doesn't show up very prominently. On the whole, I'm glad I bought it and the sale price was great.
Super cute. Very roomy. Will be keeping, but the coat will be reserved for milder winter days, as it didn’t keep me super on my short walk this morning when it was 25 Fahrenheit.
This parka is well designed for walking on cold blustery days. Down on both sides of the generous pockets make them great hand warmers as well as a place to stow essentials. I chose what was described as military green, but in actuality it is a nice medium avocado. I have gotten several complements on the color. I believe people are hungry for a wider range of colors than the usual grays and blacks. Compared to other down coats, it is light weight and runs a little large.
