My new favorite jacket!

This jacket is excellent. It is the perfect jacket for backpacking or around town. Lightweight, warm, packs small. This down jacket is the perfect outer layer, or works great under a rain shell. A really great jacket for the money. In my humble opinion it is as well made as jackets that cost much more than Marmot is charging for this jacket. A great jacket, and a great value!

Men’s Highlander Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is warm and does a great job at blocking the wind. I am 6’0 200 lbs with an athletic build and I ordered a large. It is a perfect fit. If you are looking to layer underneath you may want to order a size larger. On my first evening wearing it I did have a feather poke through, but that’s hardly a reason to take away from the 5 stars. Marmot makes fantastic products and I’m happy to continue to support them. Keep up the good work.

Great Winter Jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great jacket! My teenage son is wearing it this winter and he likes it so much sometimes he wears it in the house. The medium fits him exactly as we expected. It's lightweight and warm, but not too thin or flimsy. It also looks nice. It's maybe not warm enough on its own for well below freezing, but with a layer or two it's perfect for very cold days here in Wisconsin. Recommended!

Proportions Are All Wrong

I'm 5'11" and weigh about 170lbs, so I purchased a size Medium... The body is too long, which I can live with, but it also too wide... The chest and shoulders are both too narrow, restricting movement... Finally, the sleeves are too long, which I actually like because I have slightly long arms, but under a shell, these sleeves will bunch-up...

Nice jacket, bad zipper

This is a soft, warm jacket and the color combination is awesome. However, the zipper on the left pocket continued to get caught on the liner material. It eventually broke completely and now it won’t close. I’ve had a north face jacket for over 10 years and never had this problem. Otherwise nice jacket but probably my last marmot.

Great mid-weight coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this in a Large for my son who is 6'2" and the length was perfect. Not too bulky. Perfect mid-weight for college in the northeast. Marmot had the best quality coats with all the bells and whistles. Love the drawstring waist and all the hidden pockets.

Light weight and amazingly warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great lightweight jacket with plenty of warmth for Chicago winters. I have large shoulders so finding jackets that fit well can be difficult. This has enough stretch in the arms and shoulders so the torso isn’t all billowy. I like this jacket a lot!

The perfect jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and well designed. I live in Northern Arizona. The changeable Fall an Winter weather can be challenging to predict. I can carry this with me in a stuff sack and not pay the price of excessive bulk or warmth.

Warm, light, and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great down jacket that is incredibly warm for its size. Also looks nice. My only complaint is that the collar sticks out a bit more than I would like. I'm hoping that with continued wear it will fold down more readily.
