Tastes like plastic
These bottles taste like plastic. Anything you do won't eliminate the plastic taste. I used vinegar, I used baking soda, I turned them inside out and cleaned them, ran them in the dishwasher 4 times. Soaked them overnight in a water baking soda mixture inside and out. Doesn't smell like gassing off plastic anymore, but the taste is atrocious. On a fresh refill you have 1 minute to drink the water before the plastic taste returns.
Pointless Re-Design
These new water bottles came with the new Advanced Skin 12L (which I also sent back as it was a massive step backwards in design). I just can't get my head around, why someone would think having the top of the bottle facing away from you, would even remotely be a good idea. Even the website picture of the man trying to take a drink, clearly shows the obvious mistake. The mind truly boggles.
Disappointed by the smell of plastic!!
When you’re paying this kind of money for a Soft Lask, especially from a well‑known and respected brand, you absolutely expect the best materials and of course no smell at all. But that’s not the case. It’s really unpleasant. There’s a plastic odor both inside and outside. And I realize that it’s going to transfer into the water as well. Yeah… really unpleasant.
Squeaky Material
Bought as a replacement for one of the flasks that came with my vest because that one started leaking at the seam. This new material is so loud! Squeaked my whole run no matter how much liquid was in it. Disappointed. Only 2/5 stars instead of 1 because it does function as it’s supposed to.
Good purchase
Very practical and easy to clean. I like this bottle both for exercising but also traveling as it collapsed to very little in a bag.

The water bottle is great but it still tastes like plastic. Overall good product.
