Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

Great packable puff
This puff is great! It’s super warm, incredibly light and packs into its own pocket which you can throw in the bottom of a backpack. I’ve used it several times out in the winter trails and while I brought it as a robust middle layer, it’s often all I need until the temps drop into single digits. I’m very happy with the jacket so far and the quality feels top notch. As a heads up, it does seem to fit long, both in the sleeves and body and I had to size down from what I typically wear. The fit is overall nice since extra sleeve in cold temperatures is often a bonus but be aware it does seem designed for longer slimmer body shapes
Black Diamond Access Hoody Review (Black, S)
I've been thoroughly impressed with the Black Diamond Access Hoody. It's incredibly warm yet remarkably light, offering a soft touch that's comfortable against the skin. The fit is excellent, especially when layered under my Black Diamond Recon Insulated Jacket, where it adds just the right amount of insulation without bulk. The wrist cuffs are a thoughtful design feature, preventing the hoody from riding up when you layer it beneath another jacket. A sneaky but appreciated feature is the internal chest pocket, adding a layer of convenience. The fit is snug yet accommodating, providing a stretch that moves with you, making me feel, as Ned Flanders would say, "like I'm wearin' nothin' at all. " All in all, this hoody is a stellar choice for anyone looking for warmth, comfort, and functionality in their outdoor gear. The hood fits snug against your head and can easily go UNDER a helmet which actually really keep your head warm. Highly recommend
Perfect balance of warmth & durability vs weight
Super impressed with the jacket so far. Really warm for the weight. My previous down hoody had a shell that was too light, and it got torn while wearing it around the back country. This Access hoody, even though the shell feels extremely soft, also feels stronger. I love the big inside pocket for stuffing skins or gloves
Colorado comfortable.
The Access Down Hoody is unlike any down jacket I’ve owned before. It’s a workhorse with pockets exactly where you want them. And a level of softness and comfort that feels so nice even if I just have a Tshirt on. Warm and light for that perfect balance of Colorado comfortable! Highly recommend!
Almost perfect
Great in every regard except one thing: it doesn't have a reversible zipper. Therefore its utility as a belay parka is somewhat limited. Add the reversible zipper and this jacket would be perfect.
SO SOFT, Honestly useful.
After owning an older Approach Down, it was time to upgrade to to 80 patches holding it together. Was surprised with the warmth and the soft feel of this jacket. Still packs well too.
