How to Choose Insulated Jackets

An even warmer version of the classic Fuego from Cotopaxi, this down jacket is puffier with wider baffles. It deflects wind and water, so you're covered on gusty summits or drizzly dog walks.

This jacket is so lightweight that at first you think there is no way it can be warm! But warm and toasty it is, even in extreme temperatures. And it’s so fashionable!
I admit, I was a Cotopaxi virgin. The usual high-end brands seemed great so it wasn't until recently that I decided to venture out and try one of these more colorful alternatives. I must say that I am impressed! The main things that set this jacket apart was that it wears much lighter for a larger jacket and the outer shell is softer to the touch and less stiff feeling. Also, I just came back from a dog walk and the hood was great - good vision, light, stayed in place. It runs a little longer than the others which I am finding I like as well. I appreciate there some color options outside the usual basics which is fun. Side note, I bought my father a vest and I swear he has not taken it off. He loves how warm it is and feels so light over a flannel. You have made us both believers. Well done!
