Great coat, long body and arms

Excellent coat— warm, lightweight, and packs down small (all things I look for). The torso and arms are incredibly long— they fit my 6’2” partner perfectly, who usually wears a size medium or large. I appreciate when winter coats are long enough to cover at least the top of my butt, but there is no reason for every size of this coat to be sized way longer than the height of an average man. If you’re short like me, you can tuck the sleeves inside themselves (they stay well) and use the toggle around the base of the coat to help with sizing. I would still recommend this coat, but if you’re shorter than the model and like things to hit you at the hip it may not be a good option.

Warmest lightweight jacket ever!

Really impressed with the Fuego Max. My first Cotopaxi product and have to say, the quality blew me away. Comfortably handles single digit weather with heavy winds (long sleeve underneath). This is the fourth jacket I’ve tried to handle the uncharacteristically cold winter and it’s the only keeper. Fits slightly long, but other than that, true to size.

Lightweight warm jacket

This jacket is so lightweight that at first you think there is no way it can be warm! But warm and toasty it is, even in extreme temperatures. And it’s so fashionable!

Warm, light and oh, so comfy!

I admit, I was a Cotopaxi virgin. The usual high-end brands seemed great so it wasn't until recently that I decided to venture out and try one of these more colorful alternatives. I must say that I am impressed! The main things that set this jacket apart was that it wears much lighter for a larger jacket and the outer shell is softer to the touch and less stiff feeling. Also, I just came back from a dog walk and the hood was great - good vision, light, stayed in place. It runs a little longer than the others which I am finding I like as well. I appreciate there some color options outside the usual basics which is fun. Side note, I bought my father a vest and I swear he has not taken it off. He loves how warm it is and feels so light over a flannel. You have made us both believers. Well done!

Not worth the money

I live in New England, I wore it the first time yesterday during a holiday stroll, it was 16 degrees outside. It was not warm enough, had to wear a hoodie inside. I was hoping it is warmer. The elastic on the handcuffs are loose. There is no way to tighten the hood so it was blowing off in the strong winds. The look and the color is good. My North Face with 600 downfill is warmer

Smooth as Butter

I recently upgraded from an LL Bean down jacket to this Fuego Max Down Hooded Jacket, and let me tell you - I couldn't be happier! With very little added bulk, I'm much warmer in the winter air. The pockets are deeper and the shell is smooth as butter. Great for folks with texture sensitivities.

Fuego Max Black

Jacket is great! Material feels nice and it’s comfortable and warm out in this Michigan winter. Great for everything. I ordered my regular jacket size and it fit big. Exchange was smooth, quick, and easy. Exchanged for a size down and fits great with room for layering! Will definitely buy more!

Warmest Coat I’ve ever owned!

The Fuego Max Down is exactly that - Fuego! Really a beautiful jacket, super well made with smart touches. Love the lined pockets, and the breathable warmth. I’ve owned Patagonia, North Face Summit series, but this is that slight edge better.

Super warm, light, & versatile

I got this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it. Wisconsin winters are no joke and this is a great outer layer for dog walks in single digit degree weather. He really likes that the length is just slightly longer than expected.
