Yes , I recommend this product
I have 8 pairs of Topo Athletic, their USA sizing normally doesn't align with EU sizing. Normally I am a 38, in all of my other Topo pairs, I had to do a 39, size 8. With this new design of the Phantom 4, size 8 is too small. I compared the the insole to my Phantom 3, it is shorter and a little bit narrower. I had to return them.

A great wide, cushioned shoe!
No, I do not recommend this product
Yes, these do run small because of the waterproof insert. I would go a full size up in your order. This doesn't mean they aren't still a great shoe though-- they are. Topo's are basically Hoka's with a wide toe box. I found this out when I was having foot problems because of the narrow Hokas. These are perfect. My toes can splay and they are still really cushioned like a Hoka. Great for my daily walks. The waterproof feature is nice in case it's raining or snowing.

Ran a 5k in these after only breaking them in on a walk. No sore feet! Protected my feet great on a cold and snowy day. Only negative is how hard and stiff the bottoms are. However, this didn’t seem to negatively impact my run.

Roomy toes, cushy, arch support and waterproof
I broke a toe over the summer, and my doctor suggested several shoe brands with wide toe boxes, including Topos. I tried on a pair at REI and was amazed at how cushy it was and the amount of arch support. I don’t even need my orthotics. Wonderful shoe!
