New Balance  Fresh Foam X 880v15 GORE-TEX Road-Running Shoes - Women's

Had these shoes 2 months and 1 week and the tread is almost gone under the front half of the shoe so traction is now lacking and the foam between is all creased up. Top still looks brand new. Shoes are wide enough but because the sole is not straight on the sides of the forefoot, downhill my big toes push over the sides and creates instability and pain. 1 star for the goretex and another star for the general fit but that is it. Not made for people who walk, hike or run. Gym shoes only

Got these for a trip to Portugal and Spain, expected lots of walking and rain, since they were expecting severe rain storms for a couple weeks. The 880 Gortex was perfect. Kept my feet warm and dry, so we could still go out and explore in the pouring rain. I have narrow feet, but I got size 8-1/2 in wide, since I use an orthotic insert. It felt too spacious at first, but I liked the extra room since my feet swell with lots of walking and room for my toes to spread out. On a previous trip I used another brand of water proof shoes and although they kept my feet dry, I had severe foot pain when I returned home. This time I had no issues with the NB 880 Goretex.

Bought these Goretex running trainers so I don't get wet feet when running to work and having to wear soggy socks all day. However, on my second run in them, when the rain was heavier, I ended up with wet socks. Admittedly they are more waterproof than my normal Fresh Fiam trainers but the Goretex ones are more showeproof than waterproof. If you accidentally step in a puddle, you’ll definitely have wet feet

I have ordered multiple size 8.5 new balance running shoes for years. This one runs half size large and I realized it after a few times wearing it. My feet are chafed. Since I wore it I can’t return it anymore

Bought to walk the Camino de Santiago. The shoes fit well and accomodated my toe socks. No blisters for the 115 km walk. However the color is easily dirtied as this trail is dirt, asphalt, gravel. I couldn't wear the shoes around town after the walk was completed as they look pretty spotted. Also wish someone could make a waterproof shoe that wasn't hot.

These are great for people with flat feet but wants something with a bit of bounce but not too much. It’s stable and doesn’t make my back and ankles hurt at the end of the day. It’s also goretex so it’s great when you work in healthcare like me. I can wipe off stuff easily. As long as it’s clear liquid if it’s colored I suggest use a soft brush and water asap.

I was excited to receive these and feel the cushioning is great as well as the water resistance but unfortunately I feel the pair I received are faulty as the left shoe seems to tilt inwards and has caused me ankle and hip pain. This is unusual as I’ve owned 5 pairs of 880s previously and haven’t had this issue. Quite frustrating when spending so much.

Super comfortable, good color but they did get dirty my first time wearing them for a walk around the neighborhood. I would have thought the goretex material would have stayed clean longer. Probably would have just gotten a regular one so I could choose a color if I knew they’d get just as dirty. Overall much comfier than my ON running cloudmonsters

Really nice trainers. Due to issues with my feet I ordered a wide fit however they were too wide and slipping off my feet so I ordered the regular which fit much better. I tried all different trainers and brands and this is the only one I like and I needed waterproof which seem hard and narrow but these trainers don’t.

This is my 3rd pair of 880s over several years, but this time I also ordered them in goretex for extra water protection. They are the right wide fit for my feet, and have been instantly comfortable from the first moment I put them on my feet. No wearing in period - just incredible to wear right from the start
