Soft waistband, finally!

Finally, Icebreaker pants without the hard, abrasive waistband. These have a soft, knit waistband, more like yoga pants, but not too high rise. Yay! Nice and warm. Haven't used them out yet, but if they're as good as the IB shirts, this is a score.

Indispensable legging

I am an apple, I love merino , it is hard to find leggings that aren't painful at the waist. I am 5' weigh 165. I got large. The 200 weight. These were comfortable, clearly an easy layer for under a skirt for travel even maybe the airplane . but I might size up for a long sit. I plan to wear these for years.

Great product, fit and quality

Material is soft and not scratchy; I wear these under other hiking pants or just around the house alone (they are thick enough that they aren't see-through!). I sized up to a medium, so they are not super tight like traditional leggings, which I prefer, and the length is good for my 5'5 frame. The rise is high just below the belly button. Quality seems top notch, and they should last for many seasons to come.

These wool base layer pants are my absolute favorite. They are very warm and great for both active days skiing on the mountain or sedentary days winter camping. They never feel scratchy or make me itch and they also don’t move around under my layers, both distinctive features I really appreciate about all my icebreaker base layers!

Easily rips

I love the weight and feel of these base layers. I have worn them a handful of times backcountry skiing, however they recently ripped when I pulled them up! I’m so bummed because they are an awesome layer, just not as durable as I had hoped.

Nothing

I don’t like how loose they are, so they ride up and down your leg and I don’t like the texture either
