Horrible cut
I personally can't justify the amount of returns I need to do because of sizing issues. Decline of quality has killed my perception of this brand. My latest hoody ordered in large is cut for someone at least 20kg heavier than the three large exact same hoodies i bought a year earlier. I can't replace my Proton AR because the new cut sucks and the large is now meant for shorter/fatter people. Same for my 10 year old cerium. Magnus and Therme would be nice to replace, but I know i won't fit unless I gain weight.
Softness at the expense of durability
What I don't understand is why Arc chose to use a fabric as soft as this. For me, it doesn't make any sense. The inside of the fabric is lined with fleece, so the comfort is maintained regardless of the softness of the outside fabric. Therefore, I wish that they rather went with a fabric that is tougher on the outside, instead of using a super soft material at the expense of durability. I've had mine for three months, worn occasionally under no demanding circumstances (office, leisure...), and I'm observing it has already started to pill. Even my slightly older Covert Cardigan is holding up better than this! At this price point, it is really disappointing. Fit is great. Medium fits me comfortably without any excess. I hope that the next iteration addresses the durability issue.
Perfect for indoor and outdoor activities
This is what I reach for on an early winter morning before the heat comes on. The fleecy inner is super cozy and makes getting up and around to make coffee a cheerful task. Also, good for layering over a merino wool t-neck and covering up with a windproof layer before heading out for a walk. The hood is well designed and protects my head when I choose to wear it and the body of the hoodie fits comfortably close to insure warmth.
Great Sweatshirt . Trying A Size Down
Bought XL . I am 5’11 and weigh 180. XL is a little too big and roomy . Could try and make it work but going to exchange for Large to get the right fit for this price . Let you know how the Large fits . Wish people would add their height and weight it reviews as this helps in deciding correct size . The quality and fabric is great that’s why I am sticking with it . Really comfortable and warm .
Great casual piece - please offer in more colors!
This hoody is amazing for casual wear. The material is soft and smooth, a good overall standard fit, and mine has held up fine so far in the washer (3 washes and dries and no pilling whatsoever). Please make this hoody in more colors options. Would love to purchase Navy/Darker Blue colorway please!
Simple design, really comfortable
This is a well made and really comfortable item of clothing. I’m struggling a little with Arc’teryx sizes thought Do you do an L 1/2? XL is fine but a little too roomy but L was definitely restrictive. That said, think this will be an instant classic that I wear all year.
Quality not what I expected
Purchased this product for myself and as a gift. Very soft and a great fit. However after roughly 2 months of use the sleeves are pilling. I machine wash and hang dry all my clothes. This not what I’m used to from Arc’teryx quality. I wouldn’t recommend this product.
Comfortable and Minimal!
Fantastic hoody. Very minimalistic and I love that it just has the bird logo and script logo. The fleece is super warm and the hood is a great size (not too small). They should make this hoody in every color. I'm 6'1 and got a large. It's a perfect relaxed fit.
Great hoodie ..... almost perfect
This is a great hoodie .... nice and warm, with a soft feel. sizing is almost perfect. The only gripe I have is the size of the hood, which is a little too big. Multiverse is a great colour (slightly darker than the photos)
Hoody of all Hoodies.
Great Hoody. Love the color. Hood has a lining in it that could be a 1st cousin of silk. Whole thing is super soft. Fit is nice. Lots of compliments on the color thus far. Lost count at 90.
