Pellets, not survive a single wash.
Pellets appear on the cuffs and collar after the first casual wear. After the first wash, following all instructions, the item looks ruined, rolls into small pellets that cannot be removed by pellets removal. Poor quality of the material for that price.
Discoloration issue
Became discolored after just 2 washes, massive spots on it despite washing according to garment instructions. Huge waste of money, won't be buying this brand again.
Quality guaranteed and comes as described
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought the Bordeaux colour in size M. The product comes as described and fits to size quite well. I have not noticed any shrinkage in the wash nor any colour fade. It is very comfortable and I love to wear it! Recommended for sure.
It’s a sweatshirt. Hard to mess up.
It’s a pretty straightforward sweatshirt. I think the fit is flattering, it’s warm enough to keep me going and light enough to not cook me alive. I wear this thing nearly every day and it’s great. Do I think it’s worth the price tag? No. I’m fortunate enough to have gotten this as a gift, but If I were to be buying anything from Arc’teryx at full price, this certainly wouldn’t be it. Anything with a cotton-polyester blend is probably made super cheap and can be bought anywhere else.
Great Crew Neck!
[Employee of arcteryx] I am a female who bought this hoody as all the women's colours were sold out. I typically wear a Medium Women's and bought a Small Men's and it is slightly oversized. I was worried about quality based on other reviewer's comments saying it pilled after washing and I've had zero issues and washed it multiple times. I bought the Lucent colour and it washes beautifully and still looks new. The fleece is thick and it's super cozy.
Nice simple clean sweatshirt
Material has a cozy feel while looking elegant and sleek (I purchased the black crew neck). I use it for more casual wear and with a vest on top it’ll keep you warm. I like the white and grey color of the logo as it’s not too much but a nice color contrast touch. I found the fit to be true to size for me (XL-6ft 215lbs). Will most likely get the black sapphire as well or maybe the hooded version.
Too big
Great quality products! I have jackets , gloves, and just bought fleece. My jackets are all in xl so I ordered a fleece in the same size. You would think…right. Wrong. Had to return today for a large. Still very happy and excellent return policies. Hope my lg that will come in next week will fit right. Love Arcterix! Better than that Goose company lol.
quality not expected of arcteryx
nice looking sweatshirt but quality not as expected. sweatshirt looks great and is quite comfortable but material feels low quality, as you would expect of a cheap fleece sweatshirt - followed insttructions for washing but has started bobbling all over and has lost shape after only a couple of washes so not worth the higher price
Comfy and cozy but a little expensive
Sweater is warm and cozy, and I can definitely see the quality that Arc is known for. However, with such a simple design it seems a bit overpriced. I can't complain too much because it looks great and its comfy, just wish it offered a little more value for the price
Good Bouldering Layer
Soft, warm and functional. I’m not one that gets coffee in this gear, I climb in it. I wear this layer bouldering regularly and it doesn’t restrict movement. This is my second one. As a climber the chest can fit a little tight if you are ordering true to size.
