Altra’s unique FootShape™ toe box and zero to low shoes are built to place your foot in a natural position, with a stable and confident foundation to run on. When fitting, be sure to allow a full thumb’s width in front of your toes. If your feet are used to cramped toe boxes, Altra shoes may feel a little big at first. Give your toes some time to get used to the newfound wiggle room.

Original Fit: The fit that started it all, Original is the roomiest of the 3 options from Altra.
Standard Fit: The most common fit from Altra is right in the middle of Original and Slim.

Great only for few months.
No, I do not recommend this product
Very comfortable, love the wide toe design ...but they won't last. Wish I could show the photos here, after about a year the shoes cracked near the middle, on both sides in front of the logos. Never had any problem like this with any other pair of shoes in my 40 years of running. Also these were the most expensive pair I've ever owned.

These are true to size with a wide toe box that is truly a wide toe box. I love them and I think the smartwool keeps them from smelling terrible, especially after they get wet. I can’t say for sure about this pair but last year’s pair did not hold up for as long as I would’ve liked (I do probably wear running shoes for more miles than I should).

Great shoes! Comfortable for short & long runs if you prefer a softer, lighter, minimalist feel. I am currently training for a marathon in these, and opted for the Smartwool version because I have Raynaud’s. I wear an 8 in the Torin and Experience Flow, but these ran smaller (purchased 8.5).

I purchased these to replace a black pair that I loved. These have the same fit as my previous pair. A little more cozy thanks to the slightly more substantial smart wool fabric. My previous pair wore out quite quickly. The back of the heels and even the sole wore down. These for me did need aftermarket insoles, it helped with the lack of any structure in the heel. I’m going to wear these exclusively at the gym this time.
