Soft with full coverage
This is a fleece lined, hooded layer with a built in neck gator and thumb holes. Really it checks all the boxes for an outer winter running layer or base layer for skiing. It even has reflective trim and a sweet wrist hole to see your running stats on your watch.The gator over the face is soft and the hood has plenty of room for whatever hair containment configuration you like. Really well designed and versatile. For reference I am a 36 chest but got a large in case it ran small but it does not and I can fit another thin layer underneath.
