ANYTHING!~ SO I CLICKED ON THE "BLACK TONAL" BACKPACK. . . . BUT IN THE PICTURE IT IS HARD TO SEE THAT IT HAS A "BLACK LEATHER" BOTTOM. SO. . . . I CALLED YOUR "1-888" PHONE NUMBER AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE. . . . . WHO HAD "BROKEN ENGLISH" AND ASKED IF THE "BLACK TONAL BACKPACK" HAD A LEATHER BOTTOM. . . . . . . AND HE HESITATED. . . . . AND THEN TOLD ME "YES". WELL COME TO FIND OUT. . . . . . "IT DOES NOT"!!

I have been using Herschel backpacks since undergrad in college. I can honestly say that the durability, quality and style offerings of these bags is perfect for me. This is my 3rd bag across 16 years! I’ve ended up getting a new one around major life transitions and they really have carried me through various seasons of my life! My last one was a birthday gift in 2019 and I’m just now needing to replace it! Love the new color I chose and can’t wait to get more!

very nice looking and well made backpack. Pretty no-frills as it contains the main pouch with a laptop compartment (I wish I knew the dimensions of the compartment before ordering because it's a tight fit for my small work laptop and way too small for my larger personal laptop), a small front pocket, and two side water bottle holders. I just wish it were a bit larger as I sometimes have trouble fitting all my belongings. When I ordered this I was under the belief it was a bit larger than in reality

This was the only backpack my son wanted for school and we are very disappointed. After just 2 1/2 months the faux leather started ripping and peeling. I filed a claim but it doesn’t cover this issue. For the price of the bag I expected it to last at least the school year. My son is in high school not elementary and takes care of his things so this is a huge disappointment. Be aware if you want a long lasting backpack, do not get this one!

I recently flew and picked this to use as my carry on. I had enough space to pack my 5L Chapter Bag for toiletries, and had room for my iPad mini, tech accessories, cords, and snacks. The tech sleeve protected my laptop and made it easy to access when going through TSA, allowing me to get through quickly! The vegan leather bottom is thick, giving structure to the backpack that I wish my Classic had!

I ordered this because I have been a Herschel lover since Highchool (still have that OG bag somewhere). Since I am starting a new program in Uni this year I wanted to treat myself to a new, muted green colour bag - I thought Sea Spray was... Mm no.. It is nothing like the photo! It is like a forest green! For comparison, I have my Ash Rose from last year (2022) beside it. Definitely returning

I received the updated Heritage bag recently and was quite impressed with the refreshed design of the classic backpack. It now include two side pockets which are great for water bottles or an umbrella. The quality seems to be better now too (heavier and thicker seams) and the top of the bag doesn't droop as much as the previous design. Overall I think this is an evolution for the better.

After one year of light use, I'm very disappointed to see the leather falling off at the corners revealing the lighter material underneath. I want this backpack to last me years and it looks like it's falling apart. The laptop sleeve opening is not wide enough to easily insert my standard laptop. This model is much cheaper version compared to the Pop Quiz model.

As advertised, a very quality backpack. The new addition of (two) side pockets was a huge upgrade. The raised stitch line on the laptop sleeve has already saved my laptop on multiple occasions. The perfect daily commuter bag for work, school, or the gym. Would highly recommend.
