Smartwool  Intraknit Ski Targeted Cushion Over The Calf Socks - Women's

I had the chance to try the Women's Smartwool Intraknit Ski socks for about a month in all kinds of weather: rain, sun, snow, mud, and more. These socks are warm, lightweight, and kept my sweaty feet dry throughout my hikes. I paired them with heavy hunting boots, light hiking boots, and even running shoes. My only issue was calf tightness. I received the Women's Medium (up to size 9. 5, my shoe size), but they felt snug on my calves. If you have larger calves, size up. Overall, excellent socks for hiking, running, hunting, and even SWAT training! (I received this product free from Smartwool to try. )

Smartwool raised the bar with their new Intrarknit Ski socks. They are soft right out of the box and they are so easy to put on with the extended tab at the ton ensuring a snug fit that eliminates any chance of annoying sock bubbles. They hug your foot and leg w/o the feel of too tight compression and feel amazing. Working indoors on a cement floor prepping a ski resort for another season , these socks have been great at regulating changing temperatures constantly going inside and out, being able to breathe and eliminate the clammy feel of cotton. And bonus of not being embarrassed with taking off my shoes as there is no odor retention with these babies. Highly recommend! A long sock perfect inside ski and snowboarding boots. It came up just past the top of the boots. My feet never got cold and the socks never bunched up or caused any discomfort. My feet were definitely sweaty when I took the socks off afterwards, but this is the kind of gear you never want to have to think about while you’re out on the slopes because that means it’s working as it’s supposed to. And I didn’t think about it even once!

I was able to test them out in 22 degree weather and they kept my feet warm. I also wore them through a full day of work and they stayed comfortable throughout the day! These are the perfect socks. They feel like a gentle hug on your feet. I wear these when skiing but also throw them on hanging around the house on weekends.

Perfect fit. This will be my 5th pair of the intraknit socks and I highly recommend them. The best socks for skiing!
