Small and badly designed

I wanted to love this, but it's got a few flaws that really limit its functionality. The biggest is the shape- it's tall but too skinny. I can barely fit my lunchbag- groceries, extra layers, etc, really don't fit. A close second is the lack of a side zipper. It would help mitigate the problems related to the skinny shape. As it is, you have to empty the whole pack to get to whatever is below. The organization sleeve inside is pretty useless, because you can't reach it unless the pack is empty. The front pockets are way too small to be of use, especially if there's anything in the pack. The fabric and color are nice.

Great Urban Pack

I bought this for a semi-professional bag to take to a work training that I traveled by plane to. It has the perfect amount of space for a laptop, notebook, snacks, jacket, etc. It also doubled as a great around town pack. The shoulder straps are not anything super bulky but this didn't bother me as I never had anything particularly heavy in it. The roll top is a little cumbersome as it takes a little extra effort to access the main compartment, but I don't think this negatively affects the overall use of this bag too much (you know you are buying a roll top bag). I walked a mile in the rain one morning and was impressed with how well the pack repelled water. It doesn't hurt that it looks great! This is another great pack by osprey!

Great stylish all around hiking/travel bag

If you are looking for a stylish hiking/travel bag that doesn't look like all the other ""hiking"" bags, then this ones it. PROS: stylish, rugged fabric, super comfortable for all day hikes, fits 32 oz wide bottle hydro flask comfortably in the side water bottle pocket. CONS: Due to the rugged, thick fabric, the bags a bit heavier than traditional hiking bags, since there's only one real pocket in the bag, it may be hard looking for stuff in your bag if your one that often takes stuff out of bag while hiking or traveling, for example if there's something at the bottom of the bag, you have to rummage through everything on top to work your way to the bottom or take everything out to get to that item. Have had the bag for 6+ months now, gone on about 5 hikes and even traveled (flying) to Alaska with this backpack and all in all, it's a great all around day bag that will stand out for its stylish look

Good pack that could use a few improvements

Grabbed this on sale and it's a solid pack for a day hike, travel and work. Pack has a lot of capacity for it's size. Only knock I would give is that I wish they would reorganize the front panel pocket with a bit more attention to storing smaller items like wallets, headphones, key's, glasses, writing utensils etc. It's a nice deep pocket but everything you store is in a big jumble. Also not sure why the included key fob is in the main pocket, where in order to grab your keys you need to stop, unhook the top, unwrap the cover and reach in.

Love this

Obsessed with this backpack. I had an osprey bag for about 5 years that I adore as my commuter backpack, but vainly wanted something a little less sporty and a little more stylish, since it’s my day to day pack. Genuinely stunned by how much this can hold? The rolltop means much can be stuffed inside, and, unlike my previous osprey pack, there are many pockets on the outside for small items like keys, umbrella, and laptop. Much better airplane backpack—no more hunting for large electronics at TSA.

Comfortable, simple.

The rolltop feature is great and I like the side entry pocket for documents, small items. It is comfortable and will fit under the seat on an airplane (unless you fill it close to its max). Main "negatives: the key fob shouldn't be in the main bag since it is difficult to find when there are other items, and the stuff pocket needs to expand out a bit more (even a pair of gloves is a tight fit).

It checks a couple of boxes

This bag is attractive. It's very comfortable and the side bottle pocket is excellent. It is not big enough for your laptop, headphones, keyboard, etc. You can stuff an outer layer in the front pocket, but it distorts the bag significantly. A side zipper to the main compartment would make this so much better. With the roll top it's very difficult to see / access the pockets inside the bag.

This is the perfect everyday bag!

Everything about this bag is amazing. My last gear bag was a Patagonia Link 28 and it was too big for everyday use. 22L fits nicely for transit/car and fits a laptop, Yeti bottle in the back compartment, climbing shoes and small chalk bag, keys, phone, Airpods, small notebook, and a small bag for cables/mouse.

Great work bag

Been using for work travel and every day for my laptop. Protected my laptop when my house was destroyed in a tornado. I figured the interior of the bag would be wet after all the rain but when I pulled it out of the rubble the interior was dry.

It's great!

The bag is a fantastic every day work bag with enough space for something else as well- big enough for lunch, a laptop and climbing shoes. It seems to be quite water resistant, which I wasn't expecting. And it is comfy.
