Great quality, good fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 3 raincoats for my 3 children ages 9, 6 and 6. My son is 9 and wears size 12. I purchased the size 152 cm, and it fits him well with room to grow. I’m hoping we can get by with this for the year. My girls are 6 and bought the pink raincoats for them. Girls wear size 8, and I bought these jackets size 134cm. The sleeves have extra length to grow into next year hopefully. Because the cuffs are elastic, they fit perfectly. We’ve worn them once so far and worked great at keeping them dry. The length was a good length as well, covering their bottoms. They are light weight and easy for packing. The material is soft and comfortable.
Red Lampi Rain jacket
This is a great jacket. My 11 year old loves it. It’s a true red ( not pinkish) so will work for all my kids when it’s time to hand down. Waterproof and durable.
Good coat
I love the high-visibility yellow for my special needs child who tends to wander. I ordered a couple of sizes up so it can be layered over a puffy winter coat if needed. I do wish it had pockets since he likes to put his hands in his pockets, but I already had the rain bibs and wanted the coat to match. I appreciate the hanging loop so he can independently put his coat on a hook (hangers are still a challenge for him), and the tag to write his name in case it gets left at school. The rubbery material keeps water out 100%. It’s also surprisingly thin, not like the packable jackets that stuff in a pocket, but still small enough that the coat and bibs can both fit in his backpack for changing weather.
Good quality, nice fit, missing pockets
My child wears a size 12+ or regular 14. The size 12 fits great. I put her sizing information into their fit calculator and I was told to purchase a size 9. I ignored that and bought the 12 and I am so glad I did. There is no way a size 9 would have fit. The color is quite bright, and more of a neon pink than candy pink. The one major downside is this coat is missing pockets. I had to convince my child to keep it, as it's near impossible to find PVC-free and PFAS-free pink raincoats in this size. The coat feels well-made and sturdy and should definitely last to be passed down.
Cute and quality
Got two, one for each of my twin toddlers. Made a very cute pair and kept them dry and cozy. Feels like good quality that will last them a few seasons.
Well made but it’s pink
It’s a great raincoat. Love the material and the reflective striping. This color is however, more pink than it looks on the website, so if you have a child that doesn’t appreciate pink, I would choose a different jacket.
Excellent rain coats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE these jackets. The kids each got one (sizes 9and11 for large 8and10 year old kids). They are stretchy, comfortable, and waterproof. Our daughter used hers extensively on a VERY COLD camping trip in the Washington Cascades in July. Today it was spitting rain and our son had his on with rain boots while riding his bike. The kids wish they had pockets, but otherwise these are the new favorite rain gear they have. Great quality. The length is good for them as well. Cuffs seem appropriately tight.
Kept the mud out
All I know is that I sent my kids off with their aunt on a rainy day in their new Bogs rainsuits (pants, jackets, and mittens), and they came back muddy but dry! I mean, the rainsuits were muddy, the clothes underneath were perfectly clean and dry. The Reima suits did their job! I love how adjustable the "pants" are--they're more like overalls with straps. They have a TON of growing room, but we were able to slide the straps small enough that no one will trip on the hem. Perfection!
perfect for the 6 year old on the back of a cargo bike
I should start with how much my 6 year old loved this bright pink Lampi jacket! She was getting a bit cold on the back of my cargo bike, even with a plush fleece jacket. This shell was great to keep her a little warmer, and the reflectors on the sleeve are thick enough for visibility! Coincidentally, this matched her bike helmet perfectly! I love it bc of it's durability! Thank you so much for a beautiful, durable jacket for my happy 6 year old daughter!
Quality material and color
Beautifully soft material that seems very durable to withstand many adventures to come. I purchased the size 5 for my 5 year old (who wears size 5T in Cat and Jack from Target) and both pants and jacket fit with room to layer and hopefully grow for another season. Colors are true to the pictures. I purchased the Waterproof Rain Pants - Lammikko and Waterproof Rain Jacket - Lampi and they go together nicely as a set. I wish they made them in adult sizes!
