Removable storage.
It works great with my light touring set up and for urban adventures, specifically for valuables.
Great little bar bag.
This bag is just the right size for a half day on the bike with a few well spaced convenience store stops to resupply. The only downside I can come up with is the mounting straps are somewhat too narrow for the handlebar setup I have on my Jamis.
