Best protection from Rock bruising and sore feet!
I wish these boots were waterproof. But notice reviews so far are not tested. Over five days, hiked 17.2, 18.4, and 20 miles with tough trails in Patagonia. First time me feet have not been bruised and sore for these kinds of distances. Feet comfort the best!!!.

I had to go up a half a size, but I really like these shoes. Super comfortable, reasonably lightweight, stylish (IMO) and RECCO technology, what’s not to like?!? Looking forward to my next trip with these bad boys

Looks great feels awful at the heel.
No, I do not recommend this product
I saw the color I had to have them I've been wearing hoka trail runners for years. Before nurses and soccer moms started wearing them. Anyhow I had never seen a mid with this color way and it was everything that I would've drawn up for myself. Purchased on the REI website and I received them and they felt off I bought a 9 which is my true size and I thought well maybe they're just too small so I exchange for a 9 1/2 and I realize there is a bump it's not quite at your heel and it's not quite at your Achilles it's somewhere in the middle and it's very oddly placed and it is extremely uncomfortable. When I returned them in store I had three associates look at them because they had not seen this shoe yet and I explained to them put your hand inside and feel that bump in all three agreed that that was the odd place to have not only a cushion but a genuine jutting out bump. I can't speak to the performance of the rest of this issue because I couldn't get past that point I mean the aesthetics are gorgeous anybody that likes loud and chunky this is it! But that heel/Achilles bump whatever that is no good.

Can’t wait to get out on the trails in these. They feel really good on and the thick soles seem like they’re going be good on rocky trails. AND I think they look really cool
