Really pleased with these base layer leggings—so pleased that I bought a second pair. They’re the perfect weight to wear under a pair of heavy-duty lined pants or snow pants in the middle of a Minnesota winter while outside for a long time. I also found them preferable to merino wool base layer leggings when wearing fleece or wool-lined overpants, as these are…slick?…and don’t “snag” or catch on other fabrics like merino long johns can. Wicked moisture away from the skin well, breathable, and they’re super soft. These and the matching crew neck top will definitely be my preferred base layer and pajamas for shoulder-season hiking and camping because of their comfort!
These are really comfortable, soft, and cute - but I’m Unfortunetly returning them. It appears they have a thick waistband, but in actuality the elastic inside is just one think piece at the very top of these very high waisted pants that is much tighter than the rest of the waist band. They also run small according to the size chart. Lastly, the ankles are very skinny at the very bottom band, just like the top waist band. For reference I’m 5’1” and weigh about 100lbs. I have skinny ankles but do tent to be very particular about socks being too tight on my ankles. I wear and love size small darn tough vegan socks, as another reference of sizing. I got the purplish color and they are so so cute, I really wish the top and bottom beads of the waist and ankles weren’t so unproportionately tight. I originally ordered xs, returned them for small - both pairs fit well except the weirdly tight top part of the waist.
