Perfect fit, runs large
These pants do run large as noted by other reviewers. I'm typically a size 2, sometimes a size 4 depending on brand. I ordered these pants in both a 2 and a 0, and the 0 fits perfectly. I am 5'3", 107 pounds. I'm a bit low waisted, and so the cropped legs come down over my ankles. But not a problem to hem them up to the cropped length, and they definitely look better that way. The fit at top is perfect; not too high-waisted, no gapping in the back, perfect rise comes up to top of my hips. The fabric is good for cooler temps- it's substantial like broken-in old-time denim, with just the right amount of stretch and a soft hand. I like these pants!
The pants I have been looking for
I gave up on women's jeans a few years ago--they were overpriced, made of flimsy denim, and not designed for hiking, gardening, and other activities. I tried some pants made of technical fabrics, but I really don't like the feel of those fabrics or the fact that most aren't breathable. The Folly Twill pant is comfortable cotton, heavy enough to withstand serious work, and fits beautifully--not too tight so bending, crouching, and climbing are easy. After buying one pair in a local store, I decided to order another pair. I have the dusty olive color, which is a surprisingly good neutral for matching with different colored tops.
Just as great as they look on the website
Per the other reviews, these pants seem absolutely wonderful--great fabric, just the right amount of durable + tiny bit of stretch, the Smokey Olive is pretty and would go with a lot of colors, and the cut is cute and flattering. Unfortunately, the size 0 ran a little big in the waist and I had to return (I'm 5'5", 115 lbs, and normally wear a size 25). Another note: I definitely should have paid closer attention to how tall the model is in the photo as the pants hit me at the ankle bone, and were slightly too long to be a cute crop, and slightly too short/awkward to be regular pant length.
They Fit Tall People!!
I'm on the short side of 5'10", 33" inseam, 155-160lb, and have muscular thighs and butt. These hit perfectly at the top of my Blundstones (meaning I can finally be part of the wide-leg pant + Blundstone club!). I'm usually a size 8 or 29/30 pant. I ordered a size 8. They are the perfect amount of high-rise, but big in the waist (not enough to bother with an exchange though). Despite the waist being big, they're still flattering through my butt and thighs. The fabric has a lot more stretch than I expected, so sizing down might be a good idea for some. I'm right on the cusp, and hoping these will shrink slightly. I already have another color in my cart...so excited to have found non-jeans that fit a tall girl!
Not what I expected
The pants are a hard material like a Jean material. I thought they would be like a chino or a nice pant. They are more like a painters pants. I don’t know if I’ll ever wear them. I ordered size 6 and I’m 5 feet tall.
Good quality, have issues staying up
I like these pants. They are very good quality and I love the loose fit through the thighs. The only issue I have is getting them to stay up. I feel like they need to be higher-waisted or something. The waist feels like it cuts in too much for where it sits so I have to constantly pull them up. I am usually a 6 but I am about 5 lbs thinner than normal (5.9" and 132 lbs). I bought the 6 and they were way too big and the 4 also feels a little too big and seems to stretch out during the day. I usually have issue with my thighs be too big but these are plenty room in the thigh and "saddle bag" area. These pants are really almost perfect, with just some adjustment in the fit in the waist they would be my absolutely favorite

I have been looking for a pair of substantial weight non-jean trousers for awhile now. I’ve ordered from several companies and returned for various reasons. I have quite a few items from Free Fly so I was optimistic that these might work. They are all that and more! They are a heavier weight fabric but still nicely stretchy, super comfortable and look great! I ordered my usual size 12 in black- they are roomy but comfortably so. The color is a bit more slate than a true black. I was also very happy that they weren’t ridiculously wide legged.
Great pant, but runs VERY large
I purchased these pants 3ish months ago and have worn them in a few different environments. They are great, but they run very large. I am a true size 6 across almost every brand, so I ordered a 6 in these pants. They were way too big for me, and fit my mother who usually wears an 8-10. Good news, outside of fit, we both liked the pant itself.-Cons: Inaccurate size, color leans more grey than pictured+Pros: Comfortable, stretchy, large pockets, durable, easy to dress up or down, hip to waist ratio is on point (no gapping), easy to squat in.
Everyday Pants
Favorite pants. The quality is fantastic and they’re incredibly comfortable. They are my go-to pants, and they don’t need to be washed after every wear. The ankle-length cut goes best with either sandals or low heeled boots. I have been wearing them year-round. While the material is definitely thicker than I imagined it is perfect for SF weather. I bought the olive and they are not the traditional olive green but more faded, still wonderful! I am 5’2 and it hits my ankles just right.
Women folly twill pant
My favorite pant this fall! I purchased this in every color available and also for Christmas presents. Great fit ~ true to size. I usually wear a 6 and purchased a 4 because I have a smaller waist and the fit was perfect. I purchased a size 8 as a present and the person wore an 8 and that was a perfect fit too. It is well made, comfortable and love the color sections.
