Free Fly  Shade Long-Sleeve II Shirt - Women's

The sleeves on this shirt are designed to go over your hands (with the thumb holes) but they are way too short for that to work! I put it down next to two other brands of shirts that I have with similar over-the-hands style, and the Free Fly shirt was literally 2 inches shorter in the sleeves. In order for it to feel comfortable, I would have had to roll up the sleeves to mid-forearm, which defeats the purpose of a sun shirt. Disappointed, because the material feels really nice. Also not happy about having to pay for shipping here and back to make the return. Won't be ordering again, unfortunately.

I have to admit that I found Free Fly with the help of AI. I am a very petite woman and have a hard time finding clothing that fits me. In addition, we live in the South and have no-see-um gnats that like to bite me and I am allergic to them so I cover up whenever they are in season which is also when we like to be outdoors. These shirts are wonderful! I am 5'2" and weigh about 86 lbs. They fit me perfectly. The areas aren't too long. The length is great - not too short or too long so they can be tucked in or worn out. They drape beautifully. They are handsome enough to wear casually or to dinner. I can dress them up with a scarf and a blazer or wear them hiking. I have bought more colors immediately. I am a fan!

The latest version of this Bamboo Shade Long Sleeve II is soft, silky and fits perfectly. I bought one last month to take with me to Belize. When it arrived, I knew I was going to love wearing it. I have several OG versions of this shirt which also came along on the trip. Guess what? I only wanted to wear this one. Great sun protection, freedom of movement, cut full enough through the middle and hip length to not ride up. It is flattering and fits nicely. It’s fast drying, comfortable when wet...really a perfect top for outdoor activities/adventures. When I returned home, I ordered this one. Even though I’m no longer on the flats, I can’t stop wearing them. To yoga, to the gym, on a hike or hanging out. This shirt is a home run. Thanks Free Fly!

I bought this shirt on accident but ended up not missing the hood. I chose a size for a looser fit, and the less clingy sleeves are much more comfortable on hot, humid days in the upper midwest. The material is very soft and comfortable and feels good on irritated summer skin. Thumbholes are positioned in such a way that they're functional if you want them and not in the way if you don't. It's my coolest summer shirt, and I wish Free Fly offered white shirts in more styles.

It’s just as advertised: beautiful color, super soft, light weight. Even though it’s long sleeve, it’s not hot while playing tennis. I bought shirts for myself, my husband, & then my niece who is a runner. Everyone loves them. I’m 5’, 110lbs & it is loose through the waist & shoulders on me. I could use an xs but they don’t make it. My niece 5’4 (sm)& husband 6’1(m) love the fit. We are all fans.

I have just received my bamboo shirt in white. I usually wear cotton but got this shirt for sun protection as something faster drying for warm weather, and I am very happy with the texture - it is soft and pleasant. So for anyone who is sensitive to how the fabric feels (looking for something natural feeling) this will be a great choice! Love the thumb holes. I purchased this shirt in M for extra baggy oversized fit.

I love these bamboo shade long sleeve shirts more than any shirts that I have! I am trying to replace a lot of my other shirts with these bamboo shirts and really these are the only long sleeves I want in my closet! PLEASE keep making these in different colors. I would love to have this style in the color “STORM CLOUD”. Thanks for such a wonderful style and feel good shirt!

I love comfy clothes and this shirt is super comfy! I got them for the summer because I'm a redhead and need all the sun protection I can get! The jury is still out on how these clothes will hold up over time. I would suggest sizing down if you want a slimmer fit. I normally wear a small/medium but could easily wear an XS in this shirt.

I have several of these shirts and love them. Great colors, really nice fabric, and they wash and wear well right out of the dryer. I wear them year round, with layers for cold weather and keep cool sun protection in summer. Great for the gym, hiking, on the boat... a well used favorite for me. I like mine loose fitting so I size up.
