adidas  Terrex Skychaser AX5 Hiking Shoes - Women's

Good quality shoe - just very bad sizing. Recommend sizing up 1 or 1.5 sizes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hiking shoes had such high hopes for me. I'm big Adidas wearer from trainers to runners and I thought I would give these hiking shoes a go. The design is really refreshing, but the shoe itself is clunky. I wore them around the house for a full day before trail testing them and I wish I hadn't worn them outside. There is padding on the inner part of the ankle that rubbed both of my ankles to the point of bleeding - through wool socks mind you. There were other fit issues like the toe box being narrower than a typical hiking shoe. The other glaring issue is there are only 3 sets of lace holes with no 4th grommet up around the ankle which doesn't work with the bulky tongue and movement in the shoe. I wouldn't buy them again unfortunately, but I will buy other Adidas shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice looking shoes, colors are really beautiful and do not look bulky. However, really uncomfortable. True to size, but my soles were really hurting. Took them for a light trail walk and after 5k my soles were hurting and they were really uncomfortable. I'm not really fussy about shoes in general, don't have fit problems, but these ones I will be returning. They are also not waterproof - but I guess that's my mistake for not checking the specs in detail.

Excellent shoes with great comfort and quality. They fit really well, feel supportive when walking, and are comfortable even when worn for long hours. The design looks stylish and the build quality feels durable. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them.

Product was very good. Just couldn't get the 5 and half which I needed as size 5 to small for my mum after trying them in.

I should have read the reviews and notes... I have several other Terrex pairs and the sizing was consistent across models. Not this one, though, definitely runs short. I had to go up 1/2 size from my normal one.

The style and color isn't something most people would have access to unless they use the app. So the fact that she's the only one in her peer group who has them makes them even more impressive in her opinion.

I don't know how many pairs of Terrex hiking shoes I have by now. Definitely one of the best shoes for trails out there. No need to break them in, and always a very comfortable fit right out of the box.
