working for Canada Post for 13 years. I've tried many brands, but these boots are the best ones ever. light but strong and comfortable. My socks never get wet on rainy and snowy days. The outsole is still left a lot to be desired after 5 months of use. I wish the outsole had a more aggressive pattern for better grip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used the Free Hiker in the past, the AX5 is a firmer more robust shoe that gave more toe and ankle support. It is not as flexible as the Free Hiker, the construction is firmer. Overall, a solid replacement.

Didn’t disappoint

This is is my 2nd pair, was satisfied with my 1st purchase. This is my first boots that keeps my feet dry. I walk 8-10 hrs a-day for work around 15-20 miles. And as a mail carrier, this boots will not disappoint. Great for Rainy, snowy, uphill downhill conditions. Below freezing still keeps my feet warm as well. I tried other terrex shoes but water wont sip in on with this one. Will definitely order them again!

I got these on sale for an amazing price, they are so comfy and chunky though a little more narrow than I hoped. It doesn't matter as I'm sure I'll break them in over the rainy season. They look great, very subtle branding. The only thing I worry about is the lace holders breaking eventually but for the price I hope to get about 6-10 months out of them anyway.

Fantastic shoe! These are my first ever hiking shoe and my first ever goretex shoe. Took them for a 7 km walk on icy snowy trails through the woods with my dog and they were perfect. Amazing traction and very warm. I did go half a size up but that’s only because they didn’t have my size and the sale was too good, but they fit amazing anyways!

Had a pair of these in 2023 and they did me justice for my outside job. Comfortable and waterproof enough for rain,mud and not too deep puddles. I wore them 6 days a week for almost a year and a half. So I saw these on sale and jumped at getting a new pair to just wear casually and I swear these are more comfortable than the last pair.

A very comfortable and quality hiking boot lightweight and waterproof.The best part I love about adidas is the care about the environment it amazes me that they make these great shoes with trash from the beaches.
