Beware the mug handles
Received painful metal splinter unwrapping the mugs. Plates and bowls seem OK but beware the mug handles!
Great Camping Dish Set
I bought this despite the bad reviews and I’m happy to report that my camping dishes, bowls, cups and silverware have no rough edges or problems at all! In fact I’m extremely pleased with them. I guess some grumpy folks went out of their way to write a bad review when their enamel had a few rough edges. Sheesh! Grab a file and smooth it over! But no need in my case! These should hold up very well over the years and I’m glad to make little mess kits for each of my kids for our next trip with this dining set. They are more lightweight than they look and I’m very happy to not have plastic plates or be constantly throwing away paper plates when camping. Also, this is a fantastic value since it comes with the silverware.
Some enamel damaged
I love this set. The only downside is some of the enamel was damaged on the mugs. I’ll continue to use it because our trip is coming up, but I’d return it for an undamaged set if we were not going on a trip soon.
