Stylish, comfortable, warm, a all round great walking boot
Good shoes for working in. I’m a mail carrier and I like Adidas trail shoes because they’re so comfortable. This is my 5th pair but my first high top one. I like it. The ankle support is good and I’ll be wearing these when it gets colder outside. The only thing I do not like is that it’s a bit bulkier than the other black low top one I have. Maybe it seems bulkier to me because it’s the first high top one I bought. Overall a good purchase. I wish they would make more like these in a waterproof style so I could wear them in the rain. Although a lot of these styles say waterproof, they are not. If you’re running in and out of the car into your house, then yes, it will be waterproof. But not when you’re working hours in the rain.
I purchased these boots for a trip to Iceland in April and am in the process of breaking them in. First impressions are that they are quite comfortable, and keep my feet warm and dry. The soles seem to be grippy enough for muddy trail stability. My only hesitation is the mid height won’t give enough ankle support. I’ve a couple months more to assess if they’ll make the cut.
I bought these for cold weather traction and comfort. However, I haven’t put them to the test yet. They run big, and they’re not super cushioned, but rather feel supportive. I typically wear a size 8.5, and had to exchange for a size 8. Even with thicker wool socks, there is plenty of room. I’d suggest sizing down by 1/2 size.
My feet length 10.9", width across toes connect to feet 3.8+", so almost wide per the foot measure tool in store. Flat low arches, and low volume. Meaning my feet are flat like pancakes not volume like sausages, lol. I bought these in women's sz11 and men's 10 bc per size guide i was on border btwn biggest sz in women's, ans might need men's. At the same time i also bought 2 other insulated boots bc i have a difficult time finding a fit. These Adidas boots had too much midfoot room, i couldn't lace shoes close enough together to get a snug fit. The length of the sz 11 was good. My foot moved around too much, even wit thicker socks. These didn't fit or feel like Adidas terrex hiker with boost soles which i own . Didnt bother to try mens bc theyre a D, wider width than women's a B. Cushion wasn't very comfortable for me personally. These might fit someone with a higher volume foot, and high arches. Nice boot. Returned bc didn't fit me. Minus 1 star bc it would not let me pick 5 star
I'm picky about boots. They are solid boots Highly recommend. So far light rain has kept my feet dry. Waiting to see if it takes hard rain. You do have to figure out how to tie the top area but once you figure it out I was happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent sneakers – light and warm. Perfect for winter. However, you need to take a slightly larger size; I had to order twice because the previous time I bought this model, it was one size smaller. Very happy with the purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes doesn’t run small. I ordered half a size bigger but I could have just used my normal size. It’s a comfortable and good for hiking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable for every day walking, maintaining dry feet in our wet conditions at the present time.
comfortable and lightweight, nice looking too. have yet to try them in cold weather but seem very warm
