Faulty 2-piece top has made it impossible to use

I have other YETI products that are great. This one is not. From the start, the two-piece magnetic top has not worked properly. It came apart with the lower part now impossible to remove. While YETI sent me a replacement top I can't remove the lower piece to try to install it. So disappointing, especially because my husband has Alzheimer's and I bought it to keep his hearty soups warm for his lunch. Unfortunately YETI wouldn't let me return it because it had been used. They said it was a warranty issue; It's a faulty design issue. At least that has unfortunately been my experience. I may just have to throw the whole thing out and find another brand.

Fantastic product! 10/10

I bought this with the idea to pack with hot soup, stuff in a backpack and eat lunch on the mountain instead of the overpriced lodge food while snowboarding. It exceeded expectations. I heated up some chicken tortilla soup around 5:30AM, kept the jar in the side pocket of my backpack all day, even fell in powder a couple of times! When I cracked it open around 1PM - still warm! Phenomenal. Easy to clean too, just take the lid apart (love the magnetic fixture) and throw in the dishwasher. It takes a bit to fully understand how the lid works but it’s a very smart design. Another YETI winner.

Yeti for life

I love these Yeti containers. I needed one to bring my lunch to work. They’re durable, convenient, and the temperature retention is just what I’ve been looking for. Highly recommended.

Love these food jars!

I have a couple of these jars, the lids worked great, the food stayed hot. I took them on a day hike with soup and Mac n cheese- the temps were in the 30s, my soup was so good!!

One Great Food Jar!

Initially I was unsure about purchasing the food jar because of some of the views I’ve read about the magnetic lid but after receiving my food jar I was even more baffled why someone would write such a review on the difficulty of using it. It is a great product and easy to use! Everything else is top quality as you come to expect from Yeti,

Another option besides a sandwich!

Used just once now. Packed chicken soup early morning and it was still a pretty good temperature quite some time after lunch (3:00) when I decided to eat it. Definitely a good investment to have other options. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. Easy to use once you read the instructions or watch the video..
