Super comfortable and capable! Bring it back!
This shirt is a win. It’s a shame that it’s discontinued! I spotted this on the clearance rack the day before we left for Unbound, and I feel like it was meant to be. This year’s Unbound was rainy and cool, so I can’t speak to how it wears in the sun and heat, but I was very comfortable in this for a wet and muddy 50 miles. It fit like a dream. I barely thought about it, because it just *worked*. I tend to be very self-conscious in tight fitting cycling clothing, but this shirt made me feel and look great (IMO!). I picked up an XL and would say the size chart is accurate. The fabric may snag easily. I washed it inside out, and it still came out with a few small snags which were easily taken care of with a fabric shaver. There’s a chance it came off the rack with the snags and I just didn’t notice it. I honestly haven’t checked it out post-ride to see how it fared with friction from my hydration pack or the hike-a-bike section. I love that it has pockets, though I would have preferred two+ open rear pockets and fewer zippered pockets. I wish more companies prioritized pockets on gravel shirts. I would absolutely purchase this shirt again, and in other colors, if given the chance.
