Probably want to get a size larger than usual.
I like these slides for the most part. The first pair I received had a green bottom and some other green in the strapping which I really liked but size 7 which all of my Chacos have been were too small. I exchanged them for a size 8 which fit fine but they are all black which is okay but not quite as I would like. They are comfortable though I think if you had wide feet the straps might be to skimpy. I have narrow feet and they are pretty much at the longest possible. They are comfy and squishy...great for around the house and yard.
cushioned but not same arch as Z1
normally wear women's running shoes size 11/12 depending on brand. my old Chaco 's chilla sz 9, from around 2017 seemed old, and my feet grew slightly from women's sz10/10.5, but arch is still great. I bought these women's CushZ cushioned slides in the Black Frond, in both size 9 and 10. the 9 was shorter in length by about 1/8, 2-3mm than the Z cloud men's size 7 I also bought, i think both EU 40?. the 10s/EU41? fit better in length. however, the arch location fit somewhat better with the 9s. the biggest problem was the CushZ does NOT have much arch support compared to the Z cloud or even my old chillas!!! Also, I couldn't tighten the strap to where it felt secure, it felt like the strap was tightened more around closer to toes than around midfoot/arch area. so slides moved loose. cushioned was ok, not like a Ho_a shoe lol. I returned both, kept Z cloud even though I prefer slides, my old Chaco chill as still going god, lol. overall maybe it'll fit a higher volume or higher arch foot if you're not interested in Chaco Zs type of arch? hope this helps for size questions at least, lol. minus 1 star different arch than normal Chaco
I love them
I ordered size 9 instead of 8 based on other reviews of the straps being tight. I have narrow to normal feet with high/normal arches and these sandals felt good for me. The sandals did start off very slick on the bottom but after walking around on pavement and scuffing up the bottoms they are no longer slick. They are more cushioned than my Z/2 classics but have slightly less arch support than the Z/2s. After wearing these for a couple of weeks I really love them and think I could have gone with my normal size 8 but the 9s work just fine since I can tighten the straps.
Light and Airy
I purchased the beige, and they are so comfortable. I have two pairs of Chaco Cloud Z2s, and these are half the weight, and double the base. They are sturdy and stable, and I go out on my evening neighbourhood walks in them every night. I wear them all day, actually. The straps tighten as would normal Chacos, and they haven’t loosened on me once I’ve found the perfect strap fit. Drawback? They do show dirt, so you might need to plan to scrub them with an old toothbrush and give them a soak once in a while? Depends on where you go with them, I guess. Straps also aren’t rubbing on me anywhere, no hotspots. Good arch. Love them! I’d say they fit true to size, although this style fits more snug due to the type of strapping these have as compared to the typical Chacos sandals. They ease into your foot as time goes by, getting more comfy along the way.
