Good for rainy days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been running in the Men’s Cascadia 19 GTX for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The Gore-Tex lining keeps my feet completely dry even on muddy trails and during rainy runs, while still allowing breathability. The updated midsole feels more responsive and cushioned compared to earlier versions, offering great comfort on uneven terrain. Traction is solid, and the lugs grip well without feeling bulky. I also appreciate the secure fit—it hugs the foot nicely without being too tight. Overall, it’s become my go-to trail shoe for wet and unpredictable conditions.

Perfect Fit and Cloud-Like Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the men's Cascadia 19 GTX shoes(size 8.5), and these things are like strapping little clouds to my feet. Perfect fit, zero break-in needed, and every step feels like a soft high-five for my toes. I've even taken them for a spin on my scooter- still comfortable, still solid, no weird rubbing or slipping. They are a little on the bulky side, but honestly, when the shoe feels this good, who cares? They're built tough, the material screams quality, and the color scheme goes well with pretty much anything. These are a win all the way around.

Cascadia GTX 19 review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent winter trail / road running shoe. Nice balance between cushioning and stability. Cascadia GTX 19 significantly warmer than standard running shoe. Very comfortable winter running shoe. Goretex makes the shoe water resistant, not water proof. I find the Cascadia GTX 19 too warm if temperature is > 40 degrees F. Tread of Cascadia GTX 19 is excellent for snowy / trail conditions. My only criticism is that the laces of the Cascadia GTX are too slender / thin especially compared to Glycerin 22 laces.

Trail Beast with Waterproof coverage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Men’s Cascadia 19 GTX is everything I want in a trail running shoe — durable, comfortable, and weatherproof. The Gore-Tex upper is a game changer. I’ve powered through rain, mud, and even shallow streams without a second thought. My feet stayed dry, warm, and blister-free. What really stands out is the stability and grip. Whether I’m cruising downhill or navigating rocky switchbacks, the traction feels solid and dependable. The cushioning strikes the perfect balance — soft enough for long miles but firm enough for technical terrain. Also worth mentioning: they broke in fast. No awkward rubbing, no pressure points. Just lace up and go. If you’re looking for a waterproof trail runner that feels secure, supportive, and built for all-season adventures, the Cascadia 19 GTX is the one. Highly recommend to any serious trail runner or hiker who doesn’t let bad weather slow them down.

Returned them, wish they could’ve worked for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Returned these for ghost max trail shoes because I needed a wide and a half size up. Would be nice if a wide version of these was available because they look great and the gore-tex is a feature I’d like to have on my ghost max trails but ultimately I’d rather have shoes that fit me well than waterproof. Got shoes from a different company for when I need waterproof. Don’t really have a functional review for these shoes since I swapped them for ghost max trails, but I really wish these could have worked for me. The colorway is awesome, and gore-tex is awesome. They run small compared to like a vans or new balance size in my experience, half size up for sure and wide if it was an option would be necessary for me.

Amazing outdoor prof running shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these shoes. Brooks is always my go to brand for comfort and I’ve always wanted an option for when I’m out hiking or running in the rain. These shoes fit the bill to a tee. They are true to size and like most Brooks are super comfy. I love that they are waterproof so I can feel comfortable wearing them out in the rain and I love the look and design. I wouldn’t wear these casually as the waterproof aspect does prevent some ventilation from getting in, but I’d defo keep these in my rotation for rainy days, trail hikes, or camping adventures. Overall a great pair of shoes.

Great shoe. Awesome redesign.

So, I work outside doing lawn and landscaping work. For years I wore steel-toed boots, but they aren’t necessary for 90%. the time. They definitely contribute to plantar fasciitis and that had become a major problem. Fast forward through at least four pair of Cascadia 18’s and now these come out. I always had to wear a pair of insoles with the 18’s because you had to order a full size up (due to the goretex) and they really weren’t Brooks comfortable to begin with. With this pair of GTX 19’s, they answered all my beefs and more. They come in half sizes. Check. They are LEAGUES more comfortable. Check. And, they significantly changed the appearance and I like it. There’s really nothing to complain about. The traction in these is awesome, and I can spray them down too to bottom without my feet getting soaked. Wet grass is nothing for them. They wear out kind of fast, but I can’t complain since I’m using them for a purpose well outside what they were designed for. (Like walking up and down an expanded metal gate 20 times a day) By the way, when I bought these, they weren’t even available on the Brooks website yet. I got them from Dick’s sporting goods. I deliberately looked for the 19’s because I kept noticing the 18’s on a significant sale.

Big time improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not a fan of the 18s, but these, with the updated outsole, have been a delight. I thought the 18s felt like a brick or a block was just strapped to the bottom of my foot and it would twist around my foot if I landed on a rock funny. These have slightly more cushion, not too squishy for sure, and that helps my foot mesh and sink into the shoes so much better. This gives me more control on very technical trails and hikes. It helps me have more confidence in runs and doesn’t hurt my ankles since it doesn’t twist around my foot. I wear them trail running and hiking predominantly, but I took them fishing the other day, and they worked great for that too! The gtx doesn’t make them hot, but it did great keeping my feet dry running through puddles, mud, and wet grass. I’ve never thought I’d want gtx and I’ve tried some shoes with it, but these helped me see how great it can be! The laces and upper work as they should. Breathable upper and the laces don’t come untied on runs. I’d use these for a trail race, ultra, hiking, camping, pretty much anything in the woods. Very versatile shoes! But my favorite part is the increased cushion compared to the previous iteration. Something I’d change would be adding a heel loop to help slip them on, but everything else works great!

Super Men's Cascadia 19 GTX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband’s been wearing the Cascadia 19 GTX for a while, and the fit is spot on—no rubbing, no pressure points, no break-in needed. He went straight onto a rocky trail the first day and had zero issues. The heel stays secure, the toe box has room without feeling loose, and the shoes feel stable and comfortable without being bulky. Out of all the Brooks models we’ve tried, this one tops them for comfort. The design is practical yet stylish, with a deep tread that grips well on rocks and mud. It looks like a serious trail shoe but still has a clean, appealing look. We especially appreciated that the foxing (the strip near the midsole) isn’t bright white but a cream-brown color, which means wear and tear will not ruin the appearance over time. The Gore-Tex fabric keeps water out completely—he’s gone through puddles and wet grass with dry feet every time. The only drawback is that his feet sweat a little on warm days, not enough to cause blisters but noticeable. A bit more breathability in the upper would be the one thing I’d change, though it’s a small trade-off considering the overall comfort, support, and durability. These shoes are reliable and holding up strong even with daily wear. They deliver both performance and appearance, which is rare. Bottom line: the Cascadia 19 GTX is a smart pick for anyone who needs gear that works hard and still looks good.

my go to shoe for winter running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] took the cascadia out for 7 mile run in snow, ice, puddles and gravel trails, the is amazing. did not slip on ice and snow. The foam is responsive and springs you forward. the show is fast and stable on uneven surfaces. the shoe is not stiff, but i didn't feel the rocks underneath me, Now for things I didnt like, the laces are too short. maybe the next version have longer longer sharkbite laces. I found my heel slipped out , even with the runner's knot. thanks for a great shoe. It's definitely my go to shoe for winter (running and everything )
