When you bike to work. You have to bring loads of stuff. Extra clothes, lunch, computer, room to shop on your way home etc. This pack does an incredible job at expanding when you need more room, but lying flat when there is less stuff inside. The back section is supportive and the waist strap is supportive and well placed. I've been searching for a pack that would work for biking to work, having to carry lots of stuff, and also be good for taking on the plane. I think this is it. Sadly, I think Camelbak is not making this model anymore. I'm grateful REI had one in stock. It's really great. I haven't tested the waterproof-ness yet, but the materials appear sound. Very comfortable, ergonomic and supportive. I love the extra pouches. I think when I travel I'll be able to easily fit my laptop, tablet and have room for lots of other things as well. And it's nice that the area for laptop and tablet are separated. So it doesn't take up room in the rest of the pack.
