Fits terrible & 50% Wool

This product feels very cheap and low quality compared to other arc’teryx products. i have a merino wool neck gaiter from them and the quality between the 2 is ridiculously different. This Beanie feels like base layer but on your head. soft but also hugging my head with a strong elastic, which i’m not sure i like. the weight of the beanie is very light and thin, which isn’t a positive for me either. i find this beanie very unappealing to bigger head shapes or people with thick hair will struggle to style this beanie properly. Best way to describe the fit is along the lines of a durag or silk hat for hair health. If you have a bigger head i’d advise picking another beanie. the material doesn’t stack up or fold on itself for texture so it looks like a swimming cap almost. Logos aren’t embroidered

Hello Logan, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback on the Satoro Merino Toque. We’re glad to hear you’ve had positive experiences with other Arc’teryx merino accessories, and we understand how different this beanie can feel in comparison. The Satoro Toque is intentionally designed as a lightweight, next‑to‑skin layer for high‑output activity, which gives it that soft, close fit and minimal bulk—but we recognize that this construction can feel too thin or too form‑fitting for those with fuller hair or who prefer a more structured silhouette. Your notes about the elastic feel, the fit on larger head shapes, and the aesthetic compared to a traditional beanie are genuinely helpful, and your comments about embroidered logos and material feel will be shared with our Product Development team as they continue refining the line.

Downgrade from previous version

The Satoro is a downgrade of the RHO Lightweight merino wool toque. The old RHO merino toque was a timeless classic. The Satoro does live up to Arcteryx standards. The old version used to fly of the shelfs, some colors really hard to get because of the popularity. Bring back the old RHO Lightweight merino wool toque, in timeless colors like black, tatsu, and arctic silk. Also keep the two sizes S/M and L/XL. They are gonna be an instant success.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your review of the Satoro Merino Toque. We're sorry to hear that it didn't meet expectations, especially when a longtime favourite isn't available. We understand how disappointing that can be. The Satoro Merino Toque was designed with a high‑performance wool blend and a minimalist construction intended to provide breathable warmth and a comfortable fit under a helmet, though we recognize this design may not suit everyone’s preferences. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ve shared it with our design team to help improve future products. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. It really helps us make gear that works better for our guests.

Could of been good

Did fit nice but it would be nice if the tag was not stitched into the hat, tried to remove it so I could wear it with the smaller logo thats on the inside and the stitching has come undone and its fallen apart now. It looks likes it supposed to be reversible but isnt ?

Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the stitching came undone when you tried to remove the tag. That’s certainly not the experience we want you to have. The Satoro Merino Toque is designed to be reversible, as noted on the product description page, so we understand your confusion when the construction didn’t hold up as expected. We’d be happy to take a closer look and encourage you to submit a Product Service Request form so our team can assist you further. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-service/service-request

Just right

Perfect light weight wool beanie to wear under my ski helmet this winter! Not too bulky, but will add breathable warmth to my head on those chillier days. Plus, I can hide my freaked out hair under it at lunch or apres ski!

Design, color and material, I approve.

Love the material, only worn it a few times but thus far its been great. I have the purple one and the print/ design or whatever you call it blends nicely. Would buy more colors if they weren't out of stock. Recommend.

definitely worth purchasing if you can get one

I really like the way it fits on my head and how it looks, but the only downside is that it’s not reversible as it is stated online because of the huge tag that’s inside. That’s my only complaint, but I still love it.

smaller logo and better color shades

nice hat , but lousy color choices ,except the black and white one . The shades of the other colors are ugly for the most part .The logo is too big , looks Goddy , other than that ,i like the hat.

Poor design & quality

Purchased this in store yesterday. Under any circumstances do not cut out the label to wear it reversed as advertised, the stitching came loose when I tried to do this

Hi Lewis, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Satoro Merino Toque. We're really sorry for the trouble you ran into when removing the label to wear it reversed. That’s understandably frustrating, especially with a brand-new purchase. The toque is intended to be worn both ways, so the stitching coming loose when the label was cut is not the experience we want. Feedback like this is incredibly helpful, and we’ve passed your comments along to our team so they can take another look at the design and instructions around the label. We’d also like the chance to take a closer look and see how we can help. When you have a moment, please reach out to our after-sales team by submitting a product service request here: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-service.
