Ridiculously difficult to mount. Hard pass.
These tires get an F. I've been riding for over 30 years and have changed countless tires. This includes Gatorskins which I've used since around 2010. Gatorskins are notorious for being tough to mount. I decided to sacrifice some puncture resistance for a tire I thought would be easier to mount. Wrong! I can't recall the last time I pinched an inner while mounting, and I did it twice in the process of trying to mount these. Then, just to test, I mounted without an inner tube. Close to impossible; I can't imagine trying to do this road side. Puncture resistance is great, but unless you have a team car with mechanics behind you, hard pass on these tires.

Good luck removing them.
Even more difficult to unmount than they were to mount. I installed a 30 mm set on Alex Rims Adventurer 2 rims, which have a 21 mm internal width. Perhaps the tires were too narrow for the rims, but it shouldn't have been so difficult to remove them. It was almost impossible to get them off the rims - I couldn't get a lever under the bead and ended up pulling the tires to one side with a slip wrench and using all my strength, destroying the sidewalls in the process. I've mounted and removed hundreds of tires and have never had this much trouble.
