The coziest

I don't want to write a positive review. It's hard enough to get my hands on these pants without everyone knowing how darn wonderful they are. For my build, they are a perfect fit, but super cozy and sharp looking. Don't get me wrong, they are still sweat pants, but they are the nicest sweat pants I've ever owned. I can finally say goodbye to my tattered mission pants from lulu I've been holding onto for a decade since that brand went downhill. Go buy a pair, if they fit you, you'll get what I'm talking about as soon as you slip them on. For reference I'm 5'10" 170 and athletic built if that helps. I bought the small of my 30 inch waist

Good, but old version was better

These are good pants, but the first iteration of these pants were better. I loved that it was a merino wool blend before, this polartech is still good but i use these mainly as a midlayer during the winter and late fall as a Forest Tech in the West Kootenays and i find that the old merino wool blend material helped keep we warmer when getting wet under my shell, wish you could bring back the wool blend. Also the new ones seem to fit a bit tighter all around so now a small is just a bit too tight whereas it was perfect before and a medium will likely be slightly too big, if i can even get my hands on a larger size since these pants always seem to be sold out

Best lounge pant bar none

The new material is now polartec instead of the Merino blend. I like the old ones better but the new are great too. The bottoms of the pants are an improvement. I wish you would add some new colors — Medium tan and light gray, please! Also bring back taupe. Awesome lounge pant.

Great pants!

These pants are great! They’re comfy just like the hoodie but a little tight if you have bigger hockey legs like mine. The large waist and everything fits fine, but the legs are too tight so I have to go to an XL! I’m 6’2” 225.

Drawstring Issue

Pants seem fine, but the drawstring is ridiculously short, extending only a few inches out of the pant's waistline on either side.

Hi Thadeus. Thank you for sharing your experience with the Kyanite Pant. We can see how having a short drawstring would be inconvenient and make adjusting the fit more difficult than expected. Your feedback will be passed along to our design team as they continue refining future iterations.

Great fit and feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are they expensive? Yeah of course, it’s arcteryx. But these joggers truly deliver. I’m not a young kid and I don’t wear joggers out in public. I don’t see them as a fashion statement. These are loungewear for hanging around the campsite or house. It’s still warm here so the cold weather performance remains to be seen but I know they’re comfortable and worth every penny. They’re made in El Salvador so take that as you will. I got a medium and I’m 6’ 190lbs. Best advice I can give you if you’re on the fence is just buy them.

Great pants

These are deeply comfortable pants. Nice and warm without being clingy. I love them. There is, however, one annoying aspect and that is that the waist cords are really short. When not wearing them, they stick out about 3 cm each. This means I've had to fish them out a couple of times. I have tie them off which isn't the end of the world but it would have been nice to have a bit more length to work with (that's what she said). All in all, I do recommend them. The fit well and feel great.

Need some improvement

Material is excellent and so are the pockets. These pants could use a few major upgrades. The drawstring is to small and coupled with material of pant doesn't allow carrying objects in pockets. They could put in a wider drawstring and some type of adhesive along the drawstring. The style is okay , I think either a wider cuff on the bottom or a drawstring on the cuff would add a lot to these.

Excellent Pants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these pants recently and I'm very happy with them. My Kyanite Jacket is my go to Jacket when it starts getting chilly and now these Kyanite Pants will be my go to Pants for sure! These Pants have great comfort and warmth with high quality fit and feel. I love the additional small pocket within the right pocket which helps to keep things organized and separated when needed.

So lightweight but so warm

When you first feel these pants, the thickness might make you skeptical. It is the thickness of a sports T-shirt. However, these pants are deceptively warm. It's insane. It's not very wind resistant, but I've worn these below-freezing for long walks, and they stay cozy.
