I love these boots! They're the first skate boots I bought after learning on rentals, so I can't compare them to others, but they've held up great through one and a half winters. The laces are easy to adjust and the zippers are smooth. I normally wear a women's 11, and the UK men's 9.5 fits great. My feet stay toasty but not too warm in thin wool socks. The soles are stiff, so you may want insoles if that's not your jam.
