Excellent Barefoot Style Slides
I had some REI points so I splurged on these slides. I only wear barefoot/minimalist style shoes so I am familiar with not having arch support, width for toe splay, flexible sole - which is all true of these. They are not true barefoot shoes in that they don't have a back strap, but I wanted a pair that I could slip into easily. They are beautifully made - the leather is beautiful and the straps are easy to adjust (they have velcro underneath the straps) and they stay on my foot. There is ground feel, but not extreme. I size down in sandals because don't want my toes to have too much space at the end. Usually a women's 9 (9.5 in trail runners) and ordered an 8 and they fit perfect (my feet are about 25cm long). I feel like these will age well and get tons of use.
