KUHL  Rydr Lite Pants - Women's

I used to LOVE Kuhl clothes. Now I'm just in LIKE with them. Their sizing is always wonky...no size is exactly the same. If you get a size 4 in one style, it's not the same in another. Heck, if you get a size 4 in one style, then get another one (same color and size) there's a 65% chance it's completely different. How is that right?!!? Also, I've found their spring/summer clothes from 2024 and 2025 to be pretty decent quality. However their fall clothes starting 2025 - the quality is horrible. The fabrics feel cheap and the sizes are even more wonky. This specific pair of pants - it felt two sizes smaller than what it actually should have been. The waist was super small and the legs were gigantic. It's a shame, because I thought I could count on them for quality clothes, but now...not so much. Also...the price...seriously???

Bought these for work (office and for field work) as well as for a light weight hunting/hiking pant. Love them! Plenty of pockets, great fabric, and comfortable while moving and sitting! Waist might be a tiny bit big compared to other pants I have in a size 4, but not big enough on me to return and get a size 2 - was gonna wear a belt anyway!

These are my favorite pants and I have them in every color. Love the fabric and the overall fit. My husband wears the men’s version. A couple things that would improve the women’s version: the men’s version has 2 cell phone pockets, one on each thigh, and the women’s only has one on the right thigh. As a left handed woman this is really frustrating! Also the knees of the men’s pants are nicely articulated for ease of movement and bending while the women’s have extra seams they don’t actually seem articulated, the legs are flat and straight. Overall it seems like the men’s version has more features and pockets (but costs the same!) and are designed for maximum functionality while the women’s are not.

The pants are stiff and the rise is very high. Nearly impossible to sit in as the waist is so stiff it pushes in on the stomach and sticks out so far in the back that one can clearly see down inside the pants. It’s as if they were from the 80’s. Overpriced.

AS MUCH AS I LIKE SHOPPING AT R. EI WHEN ORDERING ONLINE, MY ITEMS ALWAYS COME TWO WEEKS OR LONGER. PAST THE DATE THAT THEY SAY EXPECTED TO COME.. I ORDERED TWO WEEKS AGO AND SOMETHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE ALREADY 4 DAYS AGO. AND NOW SHOWS NO DATE OF WHEN IT'S GOING TO COME IF IT EVEN COMES BEFORE CHRISTMAS.. my items that were supposed to come Monday, December. The 15th has never even come yet. Most seriousness because... I have had numerous problems with ordering online from REI.

Kept these! I chose Rydr Lite and reg and both were great, but these fit my body shape better and I liked the color (whatever the darker brown was). I will use to walk my dog and not be cold and do some Fall yard work and look styling. If they get softer, I’ll wear everywhere. Kuhl is so perfect for my 5’6” longer leg frame. Reg.

I was looking for a light weight pant for hunting in warmer weather that was not made of polyester or nylon. The Ryder lite pant fits the bill, made of cotton, light but sturdy enough for outdoor recreation uses. I’m 5’9”, 135 and a size 10 was perfect. Made the 32” inseam work but could use an 1” longer.

These pants are listed as “mid-weight”, but they are so sturdy, I’d almost call them “heavy weight.” They’re very soft, comfortable, fit well, and feel like they might last me the rest of my life! 😁They are a little more utilitarian than they are attractive, but I still love them.
