Had this pair of x ultra 360 for about 6 weeks now. They are significantly better than the new 4’s but, no where near as good as the old 3’s or even the 2’s which both had softer cushioning on the heels. Please just bring back the old x ultra 3’s and I’d never buy a different shoe again. Not sure if buy the 360’s again because of the lack of cushioning. They did take a few long walks to break in, specially around the foot arch area. The grips are lasting quite well despite a lot of road walking. If the cushioning was softer in the mid sole they would be a strong 4 1/2 out of 5.

Not right for my foot

I've owned six pairs of the Solomon SpeedCross shoe - even hiking the 500 miles of the Colorado Trail with no blisters in 2021. I decided to upgrade this year for the Tour de Mont Blanc by getting a more waterproof shoe and a slightly more rugged shoe to protect me from the Alpine granite. However, even though the show has those qualities, and looks great, I have been getting hot spots at the base of my big toes and pinky toes. My plan is to try to see if I can break in this pair with a few more hikes or I may have to return to my old faithful: the SpeedCross.

These are my third replacements for supercross gtx which all leaked so I decided to give up and trues some walking shoes. I have had speedcross and supercross from Salomon before (for trail running) and took a UK 10 but for these the 10 is too big. Blisters on first use which is somethiing I have not had from Salomon before. They are a wise shoe. No idea of water resistance yet as it has’t rained for several weeks.

Ive worn variations of this shoe for over a decade and i keep coming back for more. I use them mostly for trail hiking in western mountains. They are a bit narrower than other light trail hikers and fit my feet snugly, giving me a better feel for the trail in a really comfortable way. I keep my older ones around for everyday use. Wish all my shoes had the fast and easy on/off lace system

I bought these shoes several weeks ago to wear for golfing. I golf everyday in the morning and walk 18 holes. I have been struggling to find a golf shoe that can give me the support, comfort and traction I need while also keeping my feet dry. I have been using another pair of the same shoe for over a year and I wanted another color so I purchased these black ones. So comfortable!!!

Very comfortable to wear. Easy to put on and take off. The laces have a catch that makes them easy to fasten, and the tongue has a pocket that you can hide the additional string that results. I’m usually a size 9 but bought bigger. The size guide on the website directed me to the right size. Only had them a month so can’t rate the durability, but they seem sturdy and well made.

After three pairs of X Ultra 4 GTX, where I had recurring wear and tear issues coupled with an uncomfortable tongue position, the improvements are palpable. Biggest step forward is in the tongue area where it sits beautifully now that it’s stitched into the upper sitting smoothly against the foot. Looks great and feels fabulous. Love the shoe 👌🏼

I am always a size 11 in all my other Salomon boots and shoes and trainers. I also had to buy a shoe stretcher as the next size up was to big . Great shoes and waterproof and very lightweight and comfy now I have managed to stretch them . Salmon need to keep Thier size as they done in all Thier over shoes and boots . But just watch sizeing

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband as he wanted a lower ankle trail shoe he can use on walks but also on hikes. He couldn’t be happier with them! the colours are great, they are so comfortable, true to size, and bonus that you don’t have to do up laces.

Going well so far - replacing an old pair of GTX 3 shoes. Glad to see the 360 model has the thin kevlar laces and low back that the GTX3 had (GTX 4 had terrible high back and thick laces). The handy little pouch on the tongue is good for the laces.
