Salomon  X Ultra 360 Mid GORE-TEX Hiking Boots - Women's

I must have tried 30 different hiking boots leading up to my Iceland trip. I went with these and it was the best decision ever! They were absolutely waterproof and so so comfortable! I wore them around my neighborhood for a few miles just to make sure they were okay. I hiked many many miles around iceland's highlands, waterfalls, canyons, and beaches. I was even able to hook crampons on them for glacier hiking! I could not be happier with these! They kept my feet the perfect temperature and I didn't get a single blister no matter what thickness of socks I wore! Love Love Love them!!!

I bought these hiking shoes a month ago. My previous hiking shoes were also Salomon's Outward GTX which I had for over 5 years and have used to hike the high peaks mountains in the Adirondacks of New York as well as other short hikes. They were amazing, but it was time to get a new pair because I could tell some of the waterproofing was becoming worn out. I knew I wanted another Salomon pair and I also wanted a purple color, since my last ones were wine colored. This hiking boot has so much support around the ankle area and does not require any break in period. I have used them one one shorter hike so far and they are so comfortable. I know these will last me a long time again. You definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend this brand and this specific hiking boot to anyone.

Unfortunately as many reviews (pro reviews I looked up, not general customer) have pointed out, the Salomon Contragrip soles do not seem very durable, esp compared to previously used Vibram. Seems like every company moves on to cheaper supplies (Chaco also ditched Vibram for lousy replacement) thus decreasing quality. I was skeptical but having just received these, returning. They just dont seem to be the same quality as my older Salomons...plus I found them at Ross a day later (granted in small and large sizes) $38!! Also as noted in other reviews, ankle support just isnt there so might as well get a trail shoe instead. Sizing is also odd. 6.5 is a 38..normally would be 37 so they were too big. Love the color but I'm not so concerned about appearances as performance when on the trail.

I purchased these from a limited outfitter shop in a small wilderness town. one of the hiking boots i'd been using lost its sole so the Salomons were an immediate necessity purchase. While comfortable as a boot, there is very little padding and no removable insole for extra cushioning. Even when i tried them on, i immediately noticed the lack of cushioning compared to the boots i'd been wearing. These are OK for short hikes but not for the mountains i was in. (The store only had 2 over-the-ankle boot models, period, so not really much choice.) You can feel every tree root you step on, much less sharp rocks. on the plus side, they are lightweight. More like trail runner shoes with an ankle cushion.

Low quality! I’ve had for less than 3 months and the entire tread under the toes are completely torn off. And the laces do not stay tied. Not worth it.

They were very comfortable right out the box. But less than a mile on to my 8 miles hike left foot started hurts. I had to turn around to my car. On they way back my right foot starts to hurts. Middle of my foot. I felt rocks and roots to my feet. I was very upset, my right foot still healing. It doesn't stay tied. It is light weight and looks good.

I bought the Ultra 360's as a replacement for a wornout pair of Ultra 5 boots that have treated my feet well. I was looking for a lightweight boot with good ankle support and find these deliver on both requirements for SE Arizona hiking. For me, the downside is the outsole. Despite the mixed terrain description, I'm feeling like the Ultra 360's outsole isn't constructed with enough cushion for the typical mixed/rocky trails here. The soles of my feet have been sore after each use, something I hadn't experienced with my Ultra 5's. These boots also required some break in to improve flexibility, but they feel good now from a fit perspective. The laces seem a bit short and they do need to be double knotted to keep them securely tied. Overall, the 360's are a decent boot that I'll likely relegate to use for softer terrain.

After much research I bought my first pair of Salomon boots, wow so glad I did! I have had them about a month now and they were comfortable straight from the box. I have wide feet with arthritis in my toes so often have problems with footwear but not with these boots. They are very lightweight but sturdy and totally waterproof. I’m off hiking in the Bavarian Alps soon and feel confident that my feet are going to be fine!
