Impressed!

I purchased the Jet 18 for my 6 year old son. I picked it out for our frequent hikes and exploring. It fits him very well and is very high quality. I am not concerned about him easily destroying it, as is the case with many childrens products. He loves it so much he brings it to his outdoor school every day. After a month, he has not asked his mother or I to carry his pack on the walk home because he likes wearing so much. It fits a lunch box, extra closes, rain gear and water for the day with room to spare. He has the red and it is really sharp. We liked it so much we purchased one for my 12 year old daughter. She will most likely outgrown the pack within the next year, but the cost vs. value still justifies the purchase. I am now an Osprey fan.

Great product for young hiker

Purchased for my 6 y/o son. He used it on a 14 mile backpacking trip this last summer. It was able to comfortably carry his rain jacket, puffy jacket, change of clothes, water bladder, and snacks. It could most likely carry more, but I didn't want him carrying too much weight because of the distance and elevation gain. He has also used it on a variety of day hikes. I have noticed that the shoulder straps can sometimes rub against and irritate the skin on his neck. He usually wears a hood or collar on his shirt to eliminate this issue.

Great all around bag for kids

I purchased a pair of these bags for my kids for non school use. They are very happy with them on long hikes, after school activities, sleepovers, etc... I have even used it a couple of times and found it comfortable. I will take one point off for a couple of minor design issues. First, I wish there was more reflective material on the bag to increase visibility at night. Secondly. there is no name and contact info plate on the inside of the bag in case the bag is lost. Highly recommended!

Mittlerweile der zweite Kinderrucksack Jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mein Sohn trägt ihn seit seinem 7ten Lebensjahr.
