This is my third pair. I wore the first 2 pairs for daily construction work and for hiking. This last pair, due to retirement, will be used predominately for hiking. They are well made, lasting 2 years for work. I expect these will last me for as long as I can still hike. For me, I find the leather lining (hard to find now) is warmer in winter and cooler in the summer than the more modern boots. They require occasional cleaning and water proofing.

Comfortable boots, but NOT waterproof.

This is my third pair of Renegade boots. This new pair fits well and is very comfortable. The soles grip well on all surfaces. I had hoped that the new lining would be properly waterproof. It is NOT. First hike through some wet grass and water was coming in at the seam over the. top of the toes. I got this new pair of boots as my old ones were leaking a fair bit. These new ones don't seem to be any better. A pity.

shoe does not breathe

Does not breath well. Cheap thin cover suede leather over over a thicker leather. Can't wear them feet feel to hot and sweaty. Polyester and foam lined in the front inside. Shoe insole does not breathe well. Will be returning.
