This backpack is useful for both casual and business travel. The things I like best about it include the hardened compartment for phone and little work items, the stowable hip and shoulder straps, being lockable, and the laptop/tablet side-access compartment. The bag is a quasi-duffel style with internal cinch straps plus a secret zippered compartment to secure your most valuable papers or passports or money. I think the main drawback for me is the lack of any kind of frame or external compression straps for when you don't have a fully-packed bag. Fits nicely in overhead bins and you an overall a very useful bag. The third bag from Thule that I've owned.
The product design is poor. It doesnt maintain its shape and it looks nothing like the photos of the product online.
